Now, you've made it plainly obvious you care nothing for an entire style of play, CCP. Once again, you've listened to those who are too lazy to go proper AV, ie the Call of Duty assault fanboys. The vehicle powergrid skill does not work like the main powergrid skill did in the previous build. The prices of turrets has doubled. Instead of 3 million skill points for a good Madrugar/Gunnlogi, it now requires around 7 million skill points to get a good Madrugar/Gunnlogi.
There's a small area that a turret could be aimed at and still hit its target. Now instead of turret depression when looking down, like on the last build, we have REVERSE depression in which we can't aim high enough to hit targets.
We need 2 powergrid expansion modules to put anything good on our tanks now, because as has been found out, making the skill not work the way it used to is a stealth nerf. You don't need any skill points for advanced AV grenades, because you have the Hacked EX-whatevers that do decent damage. Militia swarm launchers still cause tanks to run away because now we can't run hardeners.
The ONLY good thing CCP has done for vehicles is vehicle recall. And at that, I'm surprised they put that in.
Like I've said twice before, and now a third time.
CCP, just get rid of tanks. You've made it painfully obvious you only truly listen to one subsection of your playerbase, and that's people that believe the automatic rifle is the be-all end-all of warfare.
Just. Get. Rid. Of. Tanks. |

Soozu wrote:Fact is, they flat out lied to get people to skill back into them. They claimed a skill did one thing, when in fact it ensures people skilled into that one bloody module some dev has been sitting in a corner crying about for moths.. Sniffles, nobody is using PG upgrades....
After realizing this, I just fit two maxed PG enhancers (that I unknowing skilled into) onto my tank and am about to take it out for a spin for the first time.
The jist is, they wanted people to use certain item that people weren't using or skilling into. But instead of making those items better, they nerfed everything else around it to prop it up. I have no idea what they are thinking with this build.
My shogun is useless.
Edit after testing.
Aiming is broken, not shooting where aiming. Someone needs firing. Good luck with getting the blame laid where it's due. |

Charlotte O'Dell wrote:CCP is aware of these problems. In all seriousness, vehicle users band together and keep complaining. That's how we got AV nerfed. That's how we got better tanks. The current problems are glitches and will (hopefully) be fixed on 5/14. Keep complaing. I'm serious. It has worked for us in the past. It will continue to work. Tankers unite! They've already given us their answer on the vehicle PG upgrade skill. We're basically done. |

Mobius Wyvern wrote:Groza Tragediya wrote:Lol they took the turrets and essentially flipped the axis. Instead of actually doing any real work, they pretty much turned the turret upside down. So now we can hit people that run up on us, but when they get up higher we can't hit them.
That is the most slack ass response to an issue i have ever seen. It is funny as **** though. All that complaining about how we cant hit drop-suits that run up on us. So they literally flip the turret upside down so that what use to be the upwards limit is now the lower limit and what was the lower limit is now the upper limit.
Now when people complain all they have to say is "bet you liked it the other way" and return it to how it was and do 0 real work. LOL CCP you are ****** as a game company. Oh for ****'s sake. That's obviously a bug and not a design feature. Grow up. If they triple checked the coding, and tried it in-game, they would've seen the problem and fixed it. It looks like they don't care. |
