Please add a skill to speed up switching to sidearm and back.
It would give an alternative to rapid reload, enable more varied playstyles (should I switch to knives instead of reloading my shotgun?), and it is a natural addition to higher-tier weaponry skills. |

I don't think this should be a skill purely for the fact that it's something that pretty much everyone will have to skill into (besides logis). This would just become the new weaponary skill buff that was essential to have in Chromosome. |

i see why not, more skills may = more grinding but anything to increase longevity and MAG had this skill so why not. |

I was suggesting an overall swap speed increase for everyone, but this works too. Just make it a good percent per level. |

Nice idea but im sure they nerfed it in uprising. Atm it takes literally forever to switch weapons to the point u might as well reload ur main, whereas in chromosone it was much faster.
This might be due to input lag or something currently with the build. Either way this would become a core skill that everyone needs, it doesn't add variety and is just a pure SP sink.
I don't think this game needs more skills that are MUST have. It just widens the gap between low SP chars and vets. |

I have been suggesting this skill for close to a year. I have even laid even the skill layout to it. Look it up under "quickdraw skill."
At one point in time the dev's did confirm (about 6 months ago, before chromosome) that they liked the suggestion and were looking at the possibility of implementing such a skill. |

Right now switching is a wee borked. Once they fix it then maybe.
But logis would also benefit faster equipment swapping should be affected by this type of skill as well. |
