Ive read ALL the gripes about EVERY1 wanting another respec... i took a servey (unofficially)... here is th verdict ... sell it to us... we are actually willing to PAY for a respec... (ITS THAT BAD)... we even discussed prices... the MOST common (reasonable) number is 30,000AUR ($14.98) u want to profit, we want a second chance... how 'bouts it? |

They'd just rather trick you into spending AUR then change the game so that you can't use the items you paid for. I guess it's the way the market works in Iceland. |

A remap only alters the speed at which you can learn certain skills. It has nothing to do with the skills that you have already learned, and has no analog in DUST.
So no, you DON'T do any research. |

HELL no, do NOT allow this! I don't give a damn about the whole 'Live with your choices' crap, but you don't pay someone because THEY screwed the pooch! You don't pay the plumber for fixing the piping he wrecked, you expect him to repair the damage he did before you get inclined to call the cops. |

I think this analogy is flawed. As players you are the ones who choose how to spend your sp poorly. To be honest this doesn't do anything but slow you down. All the skills you bought can be used for something and if your not happy with doing those things now perhaps you will be in the future.
Yes, your heavy suit is all but useless right now but just think, when CCP un-nerfs the heavy (imagine tanks three or four builds ago) and goes way too far in the other direction you'll be able to mop the floor with the skills you mistakenly bought. Don't fret about sp you spent in error. It will come back to be an advantage at some point. For now just grind away in the direction you want to go. |

This world turns on money. With enough money you may have to live with moral mistakes but nothing else. Pay to remove a body, burn a house, pay for silence, sue for something else... on and on and on. Money does work.
When skill don't function as they are supposed to, when descriptions are misleading, when on and on and on... you seem to have heard it all before, then yes - a respec is an acceptable request. |
