I think a BIG issue with this build is the role of the AR has changed but its replacement is not yet in the sandbox. I suspect this game will play a bit more like "Halo" now than "COD" with the automatics having a mid-close range and the single shot "skill weapons" being mid/long. Scrambler will likely take that role now, instead of the AR.
Its hard to judge the new mechanics until we have the proper sand box they were designed for. I might be wrong, but Ive been playing with the Tact AR and it feels fine. I suspect the Scrambler Rifle will as well. In fact, the automatic ARs feel a LOT like the AR of Halo, where it used to feel like the ARs of CoD. Wait until the Scrambler comes in to fill that role of mid/long range weapon before you truly judge this build.
I have a feeling this missing piece to the sandbox is a big deal to how the game currently feels. There is no mid range weapon right now. (Tact AR aside, but nobody seems to be using that yet...) |

I honestly feels like the new maps and weapons were held off just so they could say they added something on the release date which is completely arbitrary and chosen only for how "cool" it would be to release on 5/14. At any rate, I can't wait until Scrambler Rifles are added. I'm not going to use it, I'm already going full Gallente. But I'm excited to see everyone else pick it up and try to attack my armor with it. |

Haha. What are the differences is the damage per armor or per shield? 110 and 90? If so, it wont be too bad.
Im also curious about the HS bonus and the range. I wish they would make this stuff accessible in game. I have no idea how people know what the optimal ranges of the various guns are currently, there is no indication in game. |

I'm not sure what it is, but if that's the numbers than that's a difference of 20%. That is pretty substantial. |

The LR range seems low, I thought it was supposed to be medium ranged. Maybe SS pro is clouding my judgement. |

I havent tried the LR yet. But keep in mind all speeds of suits have been nerfed, so the "effective" range of things is actually a bit larger. It takes longer to "close the gap" on these ranges compared to what yodu expect due to lower speeds. |
