I dont run heavy, but was just discussing this with Iruby in another thread. Would be good to let players know that were forced into amaar just to run heavy that once the new hvy suits ARE releases that they will get their amaar heavy sp back and be allow. To respec into another racial variant of hvy if desired. |

I would say this is at least more likely than not. |

Not sure if directed towards me or not, but I think this is a fair request considering the outlandish crap that ppl have been asking for since uprising launch yesterday. Just an amaar hvy respec that your only allowed to re allocate into other hvy suits and nothing else. |

I think this is fair. I'm against sp respecs in general, but if someone spent their sp on the amarr heavy, purely on the basis of there being no other options, they deserve their options restored. |

I think this goes for ANY new suit drop. If a new suit comes out that wasn't previously available, you should be able to transfer the SP from your old suit to the new.
The argument that we could save our SP for it is ridiculous. We don't even have a timetable of the new heavy suits dropping. Are we supposed to be useless for however long it takes? |

I don't think they'll do any more skill resets apart from another at this point unforseeable major overhaul of the skill system, and to be frank i would advocate avoiding resets if at all possible.
The underlying issue with too frequent resets is that things are going to change, possibly in dramatic ways even way after release and it will be hard for CCP justify not resetting at any given time because "but you did it then! why not now?".
That way there's the danger of resets getting a regular thing, thus eliminating the whole point of specialization based on what is basically invested time.
I do not oppose it for yours sake, mind you. CCP just needs to balance the interests of those who don't have the ability to skill in what they actually want to (i take it you want to be a heavy but not ammar) and the integrity of the game concept.
