2. If i'm speccing into full Assault, with sharpshooter and proficiency and everything Assault, i want to be able to shoot straight and shoot in a consistent manner. Don't want to hold the R1 button and hope that the red dot would fall.
3. i don't like to spray and pray, but that's what i'm doing most of the time now. Yes i get 20+ kills, but i do also get 25+ assists. Yes it's great for teamwork, since everyone is spraying and praying. Someone is bound to take the kill. I'm not a good shooter, but i can still try to be one. Spaying and praying isn't the way
4. Nerf the range? Fine. But atleast allow me to shoot properly with whatever range i have left. If i aim down the sight my gun seems to run away from the red dots. it worked on MAG but it was done properly there.
5. Also, why would i want to pay AUR for Killswitch that has the same stats as a GEK?

I adjusted my sensitivity to 70-80; (still can't find a "sweet spot) AND turned off aim assist. Now I can...tolerate the aiming .
As a consequence of that I can now focus much more on the baffling hit detection. Lucky me. |

That's interesting. I recall BF3 had a similar issue with input lag for some PS3 players. It took DICE over a year to fix the issue.

There is a turn acceleration on DS3
Its most noticeable when you set your sensitivities to 0. The longer you move in one direction that acceleration kicks in to assist with turning to try to balance with mouse.
Aim assist off and turning down other settings seems to help. 60/60 is the sensitivity i hear from people using DS3.
For mouse the controller setting magnify the mouse settings. I use a corsair at 5400 DPI to make it functional i turned down all setting to 0 aside from mouse, which is at 60 and smoothing off. I additionally turned pointer speed down to slow in the PS3 settings.
Another user suggest dpi of ~1500 with a low report rate to mitgate the turn acceleration effect.
Beyond this there isnt much i can think of to help, especially the DS3 users. (seems like in a effort to help you turn better they screwed up allowing precision on aiming) Which is exactly why a DS3 should use acceleration but instead a quick turn command or macro command to allow for quick rapid turns without affecting precision aiming. |

honestly if aiming was reverted to chromosome mode and the balance changes were (mostly) revoked and there was some kind of matchmaking and the SP sink was reverted
the game would actually be pretty damn solid. like, i'd play it pretty often for shiggles three of those changes are trivially easy, matchmaking's tougher |

This build needs a lot of work CCP. Its not as funny to play now. The graphics are great and the game looks beautiful. Everyone in the game looks like they are half an inch tall though. Its like you have zoomed the game out now. Clones that are 20 m away look like they are 100 m away now. They are very hard to see or even hit now. Not to mention how well they blend in with the walls and other parts of the environment. Radar or mini map, however you want to refer to it, doesn't even work unless you are just wanted to see where blueberries are. The other day i was playing in a match on my radar there were nothing but blue berries all around me, so i go up this stairwell (thinking its safe here bc all the blueberries ) walk up it and boom there are at least 6 enemies standing at the top. Needless to say that turned out horribly for me. How could it not pick up 6+ enemies on radar at about 5m away. Im sure all of these people haven't trained up there profile damp either. There is no difference in my k/d production with my char that has around 8.5 m sp and my char that has 1.8 m sp. The only difference i have noticed is that my char with 8.5 m sp can absorb more damage and waste a lot more isk on better gear that does help. The rang on everything is horrible now. If u are not using a sniper riffle or a tactical riffle your not even in the game. I use to do plenty of killing with good skills and low end guns in the last build. I.E. the militia assault riffle, exile, even the gek. Now even the duvolle is not that great. This is a prototype gun. There is something wrong with this picture. It is extremely hard to hit anything. I have tried all the settings for aiming and aim assistance on and off. i see no difference. I do think zooming the game in some (which would make clones a little bigger) would help out with some of this. Grenades are another problem sometimes u can see the grenade and other time you are looking at the guy throwing them, you see the motion but never see the grenade. So u are moving around trying to get out of the way of it but you dont know where this "cloaked" grenade is. This build so far has not been very fun at all. Its to the point of i have basically given up on assault class, which i love the role. Now i have to sit on a mountain or roof top away from the action and snipe or most of the time i just bring in AA a kill jeeps, tanks, and turrets. Which btw i find painfully boring. I do understand that this is not the finish product. Ater playing eve for 3 years i have told everyone that it was the best game i have ever played. When i heard you guys were making dust 514, i was so excited. I love fps. I knew if u guys made a fps after your eve model then it was going to be epic. The last build i was totally on board and i quit playing all my other games i have and quit buying games bc i thought this was it. I will have no more need for other games. Now that the new build is is out i was equally excited. I scheduled my off days at work to play it and see how everything worked. I spent 3 hours looking at all the skills and items before i ever placed any of my sp. And now i feel it was a huge disappointment. In eve every skill mattered, it made your char better in some way. In dust u have to train skills that have no function other than unlocking ones that do. That is a waste of sp. If i only need a skill on lv 1 to unlock what i need unlocked why would i skill it to lv 5 there is no advantage for me to do this. I dont think that was well thought out, nor usually for for a dust merc. I have also noticed some of the things you have fixed are still horrible and force you to use stuff you wouldnt want to use. |

Like vehicle engineering this skill. Adds 5% to your cpu reduction of pg modules. Instead it should have actually made your merc better by giving him 2%, 3%, or 5% to total pg. that would have been useful. Instead u put skills in that i need lv 1 in it that does nothing but unlock another skill to train that actually does something. So my question is why would i ever train this skill past lv 1? In eve every skill u train helps your pilot better in some way. In this skills dont always make your merc better. This is just an sp dump. If u want people to use there sp and not be over powered or the fear of being maxed out why not just add in some skills? Like you could add trade skills, like in eve, where u get discounts for stuff u buy or sell on the market. This would be useful. Another ideal would be to add leadership skills. U train them to have people in your squads, and give them bonus to squad mates like bonuses to armor hp, shield hp, shield or armor regain, damage bonus, and/or radar range improvements. These would be useful skills and improve and promote team play. Team play now is blobbing so at least u can kill one guy. these would be good and useful skills to incorporate into the game. You have a good model in eve. Why have you guys not incorporated all of this knowledge of a working model into Dust 514? You fix stuff that isn't broke. You break stuff that works great. I don't understand why you guys didn't keep the game play the same as the last build. Update the graphics, fix bugs, and some new useful skills, modules, suits, guns, and some new features. That would have made sense. This build doesn't make sense. The last build had problems too but it was still a workable and fun game. This is not so fun. The only enjoyment i have gotten out of the new build is using a swarm launcher sitting way off away from the action and kill jeeps. This is fun as long as there is a lot of jeeps, but in the instance that there isn't than it sucks. i have had to resort to feeling like a coward sitting off in a distances just to find some kind of enjoyment out of this build. Corporations features are another huge misconception. With the "NEW" build all corporation features of eve with be available in dust. Well as a former eve player that ran there own successful corporation. That corp and this corp features are night and day. There is nothing to do with a corp here. You can accept applications or shift money around that's it. There is no tax rate. There is no option to issue stock. there is no corp hanger. There is on one hand 7 wallet divisions which u can do absolutely nothing with. Spawns you guys say you have fixed them. LOL how u now have a 5 sec cloak so now when you uncloak u can see the 5 people waiting on there for you. im sure there is a lot more i could say about it. But i will wait to see if any of this gets any kind of attention from CCP in the form of a response then action. |

Outside of 3m it's a sensitivity issue. Inside that, it's slow and garbage.
Hip-firing shotguns. I think. I honestly don't know if I ever pull up sights on it...subliminal action, if so.
