Is it? Also what is the difference between sentinel and basic for heavies? Last question what weapon would be advisable to spec into when specing into a logi, assualt, or scout? |

It may be possible to get a bare bones madrugar. And then you could possibly get a standard Large frame suit with a standard heavy machine gun. |

The weapon is a tough question. I recommend going slow and not spending on more than advanced weapons before you have a chance to run them for a few matches. I was planning on going into mass drivers again but will probably just do AR for awhile. Everything has changed. Make no assumptions based on Chromosome.

Choose if you want to play with vehicles or infantry first. Skills are totally separated.
If infantry, Choose your gun first than built around it. DON'T rush to lvl to lvl5 on everything especially racial suits, you will just screw it up.
The first 2 skills to lvl5 are the skills for shield and armor which give 5% every lvl. Bare they dont unlock the plates and shield extender, it's the following skills in the tree.
HMG suck for now if you want to spec in heavy. Consider this before you spec. CCP is looking into it at least, so there is still hope.
Heavy suit is tricky since there is only Amarr suits which are armor based. You don't like that? I would say stick with militia until they release the other variant to save your SP, since 4.7M isn't alot anymore and you can't spec in all of them.
AR is good enough right now, I would say stick to this if you want to have as much fun as before and agree to play that for the time your earn SP enough to change (a long time). |

With 4.7 SP you have enough to get a good basic-line Prototype suit. You can get whatever frame size you want up to 5 for the prototype, increase your core armor upgrades and shields upgrades to 5 for that 25% bonus in each (though if you are Gallente ignore shields, and if you are Caldari avoid armor. 25% of 120 isn't much). You can get some complex modules for your armor/shields. You can pick out a weapon and get it to Level 3 (Advanced), and you could get an enhanced weapon modifier. By then you will be all out of points.
I have a few corp buddies who have about the same skill points as you and advised them before |
