Everyone has been complaining about this doesn't work or my new gun has no range or blah blah blah
Can we atleast take a minute to thank CCP for doing this? The game is free, and it's a pretty amazing game. The merc packs are a good deal, the game is smooth, graphically appealing, and i want to thank them for keeping it going and trying to please the players |

it is possible to do both, there are aspect of the game that we love and there some that need addressing. So I shall continue to support the game with both praise and constructive complaints |

Yeah im a tank driver and i pretty much can't spec into anything till the fix the vehicle skills but i mean thatl be fixed soon :P |

Jesus Christ! This attitude is exactly what's wrong with the western world these days, guys! I mean just because you pay for something doesn't mean you can treat people like trash! And I know these guys at CCP have probably got used to all of the garbage they need to take when they come here to THEIR forums, but Jesus guys let's try to treat each other like human beings for a moment. And oh yeah, I do wish to thank CCP, cause this is one of the only video games that gets me excited and they are willing to go to places where other big game developers and publishers can't even dream of! |

No range... each level buff gives you a tighter spread over distance, but without sharpshooter skills there is no distance. So going to level 5 actually makes it even more difficult to use as there is less spread in close quarters. You can shoot someone... do damage, they take one step back and, poof, you're shooting farts in the wind.
This is the first time I've actually felt cheated in DUST. I've been a keen supporter until now as I know other people also have their own very valid gripes. |

As with any update, it has improvements and it has things that need fixing. But the improvements vastly outweigh the issues, and you can't hope for more than that when it comes to game development. After a few weeks of tinkering I think Uprising will work out just fine. |

What is wrong with the shotgun I got the daemon shotgun free with a headset lol and I tried it out last night and with the dragonfly suit and I wandered behind the enemy as they were coming for an objective got 3 of them before they turned round and then got another 2 before they brought me down. This was with no skills in SG.
Also the dragonfly suit looks nicer now not sure why it shares the same model with the black eagle though, bit wierd the black eagle is now white and blue. And the daemon shotgun used to be a sort of green colour its now a multi coloured killing machine it looks mint. |

Are they going to do anything with the aiming? I've played just about every FPS game there is, and the new AR is the hardest thing to aim. Do i just suck? |

I had PS+ so i got access earlier on, when you couldn't even play a game without lagging out lol. |

They've confirmed the keyboard/mouse implementation is a bit fruity right now, but there is a chance that the clamp down on acceleration is going to have to stay to avoid the previous build's everyone-spinning-on-a-dime issue. If you're on a controller, it's probably just a combination of the overhauled autoaim and the AR not being what it used to be. |

Ok thanks. Well, i don't use AR in the first place, tank driver (what's left of tanks anyways) and i used to be able to hit stuff but now it's hard as heck lol. Im going to see if i cant hook up my mouse |

I am thankful for CCP in creating a game and deciding not to do a subscription based marketing strategy. However, stating that the game is free does not excuse it from just criticism and it especially does not mean that problems or quarks should just be accepted.
How many people here bought AUR? Let me just say that in the time I have been playing, I have probably paid more than if it was just a 15 dollar a month game. I am not complaining about this (though I am a little miffed that I didn't get a refund on my Sever or Raven suit  ). Just because a game can be played for free does not mean that the game has no money and it is just something that we have to accept for being flawed. It is the same fallacy people say with games like League of Legends: when a game has made so much money that there have been multiple million dollar tournaments, saying "don't forget it is Free To Play" is simple wrong.
Obviously, DUST is not there. I want it to get there. I want CCP staff to look like the Monopoly Man carrying bulging sacks with $ on it. But many people feel that this patch had done far more harm than good (myself included). There was a Trenches comic that dealt with an MMO going suddenly having a massive influx of cash: "It turns out that Free To Play' is sort of a misnomer."
I like the game but this patch, in my opinion, was a very disturbing step in the wrong direction.

To be Honest about a lot of things I have played eve since 2007 This patch was quite a let down
There is a lot of shiny new things in this patch here is a list of things done right and wrong please add to it people so CPP get the message
Things done right.
6 person squad
Voice on all channels
Shiny new colors
Working on Re balance
Things to fix
New spawn Menu should have used same keys X to select default and x to start like always
Re Balance is messed up you have Nerfed all the weapons way to much there should have been some done to Laser, Sniper,
Maybe a little less damage on a heavy and Forge Gun
The suit fittings are all messed up now as far as PG/ CPU
You have taken away what we had before and not replaced it with skills
Changing all the skills was a bad Idea now most people have chosen skills that do not relate or work
The HUD does not work well can't see who needs a medic
Medics needles don't work anymore Nano-hive is useless now Way to little ammo
Logistics can't re-spec to a use full medic
A lot of the default suit fitting are fit wrong and don't give you what is needed to be a default player in that role
Players are getting stuck, Map is freezing.
When you die get rid of the screen that shows you who killed you you want to see what is going on.
You have messed with the core of what DUST was. All you had to do was some balancing and new shinny stuff.
There is probably a lot that I have not seen yet so please add to it people. In a nice way to get it fixed a list of what you like and what needs to be fixed

Yeah, in spite of the early glitches, my feeling is that this is the best build that we have had so far and I'm sure that CCP is working hard to fix the bugs.
It is extremely pretty. So much so that I keep getting killed because I just want look around and admire the scenery. The graphx make the maps feel completely new and the moods/effects are killer.
New sounds are the bomb, too. The LAVs sound freaky good zipping around.

Thanks CCP for the graphics! I love how much it effects gameplay and the experience! Now I have burning bushes to watch out for on my LAV. Good times.
New UI is great! It doesn't look clunky or feel too simple at all! Feels like real effort....
Weapon changes are FANTASTIC. HMG never felt more skilled. Now I actually need to put in some real effort in pubs to be half of what I was while everyone else can just point and shoot!
Thanks CCP for making getting into the game shorter - now I can get into matches quicker and see how terribly you messed up all the more.
And last but not least: Thank you CCP for fixing SP and AFK farming. You really knew what we wanted this build and gave it your all!

I can deal with all the ut oh this is not working right things like max range when your level 5 in it only being about 50-80m for an AR. Guys we need to play the game like newbs not seasoned vets. The majority of the people that will be downloading this game on launch wont be any were near even being able to try some of the better weapons, gear, suits, etc for months.
Only issue I absolutely hate is the spawn system ( not the screen).
This is one of the issues listed as "improved" in patch notes.
Why are we still spawning in the middle of an over run location just because all the blue dots are there and dieing, resulting in the needless loss of suit, gear, weapon, etc that could have potentially costed real money if your into aur? Random spawn ( auto spawn) should be just that, a random location on the map not were all the blue dots are, that's what drop up links are for no?. However we are constantly wasting said drop up links having logis trying to run out of a camped ( auto) spawn trying to get another spawn location thrown out.
