I'm all for adapt or die, I totally get it..
MD has some new issues now, with the smaller blast it is more important to place the shots better the flight line appears to be mostly the same, but the visual trail in the new graphics, is less obvious. the smokey blast is less..and still (IMO) not exactly aligned with the boom. Now if you make a kill sometimes the body just disappears...Did he run away? Did he start to circle behind me?
Jack, the MD players of last build would happily blast a stupid crowd of suits, you're right now we can't...but everyone else can still spray and pray with 4 kills worth of damage in a mag.
Sounds like you were a MD nurfer in the recent past, was that because we dominated the kill boards? Did you hate watching that round flying flying flying..sip a coke..flying at you waiting to blow? Did it really **** you off when you rounded a corner and the MD guy suicided because he was too close to you and you didn't get the kill? Were you mad that your showdowns took 4 seconds longer because the MD fella had to reload, but of course he carries a nanohive (because he must). have you had MD teammates ***** you out because you walked in front of him when he was shootin and he died?
See we know how to adapt or die, We always knew we had a finicky weapon. I'm not all that worked up about going to pro5 and not being able to get a positive K/D I kinda like SG and this is a beta, but MD was fun, predicting were someone would be 3 seconds from now, lining up to get 2 people..all of that was cool..maybe I can have that again..we'll see, but ...
So far the blast radius was just a bit too much |

you dominated? good joke. your current post indicate the opposite. oh and I was using the MD myself.
your reading comprehension is poor.
I did not claim to dominate or even be above average.
I do claim to have been able to splash a moving target at 40m. I no longer seem to have that ability kiddo. not your fault but now my opponents can jump over my damage, stop running and my targeting lead prevents them from taking damage, basically unless i figure out some trick I have zero chance in a 1-1.
Poop happens, its a beta, but at this point it looks like too much a change. (that said if CCP knee jerks and changes anything without more than a week of research they're fools)
So quit your personal assaults on what you think our abilities are and help us figure out how to compensate or go gloat on your favorite I love SG AR FG LR |

What area denial? They are not going to even feel it. You may get kills against standard and militia suits, but forget about anything else. I got plenty of kills combining it with the Flux grenade. I would throw a flux grenade into the group and then fire the MD, it has a bonus to armor so it was usually a 1, 2 punch. I haven't tried it with the current build but the damage nerf itsn't that high. I still feel it would be effective when used with flux grenades as i did last build.

Just to use one weapon?
doesn't seem like a really good design. you have to be within throwing range to use a grenade launcher? Some people will die of old age before i go through throwing the grenade, it pops, i fire 2-3 times...thats a long time man. |
