Short term their is always going to be whiners who got used to playing a certain way, game is still fun, ui is way better, end of match stats are great, I'm encouraged by the dropships in the air. I dont mind the ar range, or lack of large amount of heavies. CCP I'm not going anywhere.

The people complaining are only doing so because they hate having to learn a new playstyle, and are doing worse while trying to do the same tactics that no longer work. Once all this hype dies down, people will admit this build is far superior to last.

On a more serious note, there seems to be a lot of cool new features and improvements but also bugs and issues in Uprising and the balance is questionable. I'm gonna sit on my opinions for at least a week of playing before I start calling any praise or doom.

Anyways, I love the Tac AR's, while the diversity of weapons and classes that are viable died down a bit, I'm happy my favorite gun finally is not worthless anymore after being ignored by the community since the Chrome build. Lots of fun to be had for me in uprising.

In chromosome we used to be able to effectively strafe and track enemies even at long range with most weapons. Now it seems impossible to find a sweet spot on an enemy before you run out of ammo, or have to retreat. I think the problem with the aiming now is that they tried to "smooth" it making it less snappy than it used to be. The analog stick literally feels thicker and clunkier even though I'm using the same controller. In the old builds when they changed the aiming I felt like I could easily adapt, which I don't think is possible in uprising.

People have said it clunky and heavy in terms of controls but to me this is something I like. The game is slower paced there is more thought and time to position. Also the new gear looks really good and the graphics are just lovely compared to the way they were before. However there are some issues that people pointed out to me like vehicle skills not working, and the occasional random glitch or two but I think that was bound to happen post patch anyway. All this said I have had a lot of fun with the new build even if some of my old methods of play are now unusable. Especially Lasers. So used to open sights but now having to deal with Iron Sights. Tough change but great gun anyway and slightly more balanced.

Lucky i got to keep my exile assault rifle. I dont care about those range nerfs I never used Sharpshooter skill on previous build. I think that people are too suprised about the changes that they cant really understand everything new. I do get shot by Big popa smurf, king babar, and other good and honorable fighters on the field as i did at last build only my chances of fighting back are better. thank you ccp for that. I like Dust even more than i used to! See you people on the field.. I know that you will see me as my Yellow caldari cab driver uniform is bright like the sun

But i dont care as long as figths are wild and intesive it makes it more like future war. I must say that reviving(proto inj) people is cooler now because I can put myself to opponents line of fire and take some fire (460 shields) and give time for team mates to recover.

CCP I'm not going anywhere. oh dont worry those drop ships will get renerfed just like the HMG, any time any thing can even get close to seriously compete with an assault/AR it gets nerfed. people will complain about getting killed by DS and it will get nerfed so hard you won't see another for yet another build. If I hand't seen the history of favoring the AR/assault to stupidity I would think like you but It's all I can do to keep suiting up in some zombiesc attempt to keep hope alive. Frankly its less about hope for life then a desire for flesh.

Graphics wise I've experienced very rare texture blur/pop in issues and all of the new polish makes DUST a ton more atmospheric, I finally feel like I'm fighting on alien worlds now. Also it's nice to finally experience a smooth frame rate after almost a year of waiting. I'm also liking the new gun play, it feels less like an arcade shooter and more like a tactical game, and this is from someone who uses assault rifles, which I've found a new love with the burst and its scope. I just can't wait for the new armour modules so I can better equip my Gallente medium. Overall though I haven't experienced many bugs, though I'm sure there are many, it is a new build after all. I'd say I was surprised by all the QQing on the forums, but I doubt anyone is any more. Despite this though I can say for sure Uprising > Chromosome and all previous builds.
