it still has a decent quality so it should be down to like 20 or something. That large number draws new players in to try it hopping that youknow, an HMG will be effective and they find the milita scrambler pistol was working better. So nerf the last nice part about it so its never used ever, ever again |

I actually agree with you, though. It's funny that heavies and HMGs were something that no one ever really complained about, yet they got nerfed anyway. Actually, it's not as funny as it is stupid, come to think of it. |

Nobody complained because EVERYONE KNOWS what a heavy class infantry should be. That is a force of destruction. Something to be feared on the battlefield. Something to be treated as an HAV with legs!

I'm not a heavy or HMG user, and as such I am truly confounded by their recent nerf. Unless there's something coming on the 14th that buffs the HMG by context I can't come up with any ideas as to why this happened, certainly none of my testing indicated that it was needed.

i have been training my heavy for the last month and a half .. and after all the deaths i had to go thought .i was starting to get good at the heavy .. was holding my own on sunday .. then this patch and now i cant kill nothing .. i had 5 million sp and with it i had hmg to lvl 5 , hmg spec to lvl 3 and heavy armor to lvl 4 plus a bunch of suppost skills .. to lvl 2 and 3 ... plus about 4 other weapons to lvl 2 or 3 .. now i have no suppost skills and only hmg to lvl 5 and hmg spec to lvl 2 and all my sp are gone ...i had to outfit my heavy in militi crap ... you really make me not want to play any more .. i feel like i just wasted the last month skilling this toon up ..i sure hope you fix the sp or give us anought week of 3x sp ..till then your not getting any more money from me ... so far i spend about 120 dollars on this game between 2 accounts ... no more money from me if im just wasting it on chasing sp ... thank goodness my other toon is a sniper and i made sure to get some suppost skill.. but this heavy is totally useless now |

As hard as I raged in last patch every time I ran into a heavy in their optimal I knew that was because the class was designed that way.
And it was good.
They did and should own in short to close-mid range with HMG.
If HMG's are not doing that in Uprising you have a +1 from an AR user. |

The Heavy Nerf was the reason I stayed away from it this build, although if you speced into forge guns I think you still can do pretty good, the HMG was already suffering in open beta from range issues even with maxed sharpshooter. Good thing there are starter suits that don't cost a darn thing. BTW it wasn't just the HMG that was nerfed but also MD and AR due to damage nerf and sharpshooter nerf. The nerfs caused a lot of us to be outside of optimal and with less damage very easily considering we are used to the long range game we have been playing for 6-12 months. I know I will adjust ...can you? |
