As negative as I usually sound, its because I want this game to succeed. If I point out problems and shout at them, its not because they annoy me, its because I'm afraid for the game. There are many, MANY more games I can play in the meantime, while waiting for the problems to be fixed, so annoy me is the last thing they do.
I do agree, this is an improvement in some areas, a lot of areas in fact, but its also a downgrade in some others. For example, and most notable, aiming. Its horrible, no matter how much I tweaked my sensitivity, its just difficult to get it right. There is also input lag that wasn't there in Chromosome. And armor isn't fixed, of course, but that's a personal gripe and they will probably fix it in the future.
Other than that, good job CCP. |

Bump
Not letting this one die, a bit of good feedback is needed here and there. |

I'm pretty disappointed with the overall delivery and lack of communication when it comes to all the little things they went about changing.
Here's hoping they impress on the 14th. Not to say the game hasn't improved, but at what cost?
Release is always a stressed out time at office. They have to monitor our complaints, watch for game killing bugs, and hope it just plain works in the first place. It also means a whole cycle of development over, and they get a little rest before starting a new cycle (next expansion). |

Less than few seconds to get to the next page. I'm a sad kitten. I will try to bump this over and over until it catches on. I will not let this thread die just yet, I feel like I owe it to CCP to have a bit of good feedback in the sea of bad feedback I gave them. |

however i do agree the radio slience and just dropping these changes on us was a poor move. but i think CCP dust is very quickly learning the lessons of CCP EvE and would not be supprsied if their were a few phone calls with heads on what the hell happend.
over all though i like the update, doing very well at the moment They're pissed off that their class changed role from defender/attacker to just defender. I don't see the problem, I expect things to change heavily over the years. A class that does one thing today might do a complete 180 tomorrow.
The only two problems I have with the suits are: 1. Logis are too good at doing the assault job 2. The difference between basic and assault suits are some passives, nothing else, at all. |

Logis are too good at doing the assault job 2. The difference between basic and assault suits are some passives, nothing else, at all. The issue is that Logi suits can only be good at their job by having a lot of fitting and slots, but then they become good at everything. It's easier to balance in EVE because the RR modules take up the High slots you would have for weapons, and they don't have bonuses for weapons either. Not really sure how you'd balance that here. Take away light weapon slot, introduce new slot, tackle slot. Contains webs, energy drains, etc'. Can be fit in heavy and light weapon slots, but not in secondary slots. So in size it goes: Heavy>Light>Tackle>Sidearm
Put the tackle slot on the logi instead of the light weapon, give it a sidearm, done.
Logistics =/= Triage, logistics is a broad term that encompasses support of infantry in the case of Dust. Tackles fit snugly into it. |

You'll notice from the FanFest CCP Presents! presentation that a "Magsec SMG" is already planned as a Caldari weapon, and if you take this idea further - into the realm of modular weapons - and allow the current SMGs to be upgraded to fill this type of role, you don't even have to make a new asset. Logi suits get a workable weapon with low fitting requirements, and are better fit into their intended role. Cool idea but i believe that we should get Carbines, a light weapon meant for high fire rate lets say 900 with Not great but not bad damage and Close- Medium range but high recoil after shooting 30 bullets Smells too much like a glorified AR. |

Logi's should only engage enemies as a last resort. They're not frontline fighters, they are the ones supporting the frontline fighters, they have too much gear to carry around a big boom stick. |
