So, I have just over 3.1 mil sp, and according to the forums, Anyone below 8 mil, is completely screwed. So, what should I spend my precious sp on first? |

So, what should I spend my precious sp on first? any time you throw "and according to the forums" into your post, you're screwed. don't give up on yourself so easily. if you were trying to get into PC on day one, you would have made sure you had more sp on day one. Unlike some people, I couldnn't, I can only play on weekends |

Just don't expect to be one of those players going 20-1 and 1500+ WP on the scoreboard right away and you'll be fine, far from screwed. Sorry bro, but I'm not a newb. I know what shields and armor do, what all the stats mean, and I know the maps like the back of my hand. I just don't have a lot of time to play, and therefore don't have as much sp |

Perhaps it's time for the newbies of New Eden to learn some tactics. I thank this build for that possibility. MAYBE our blueberries will cooperate now. Llan Heindell. ^same |

So, what should I spend my precious sp on first? Play cover. Play smart. Don't go straight to any red point that you see in the map. Don't worry about people with Proto, just be careful. If you empty a full AR clip in some guy, you will kill him. You don't need to go into "face to face" battles. Look at the stats when you aim an enemy. If is too much for you, turn around, try to take him from behind or find some team mates. This way you can play so much better even if you don't have any proto thing. Remember that PROTO is not GOD. You can kill a proto guy with a militia shotgun easy. The same with a Forge Gun (1 good shoot). Try to use all the militia stuff that you can and then go for the best for you. Revive a team mate = 60 wp. Kill an enemy = 50 wp. If you want to be an assault but you can't go in front at first. Use a nanoinjector. Stay behind and support the others. Save SP and then spend it. If you want to go support. Stand behind and focus and support your team. There are many ways to help your team and get a lot of SP, WP and ISK. The best I can tell you is "Cover is your friend". "Don't go straight to any red point". "Look at the stats when you aim". "Stay behind and support till you can be in the front and take the bullets for your friends". See you I've killed proto in a straight militia build(the only thing I changed was a MLT shield recharger to a MLT extender), by my self, and I have a 2-3KDR, proto is a huge advantage and rolling against a proto team in std gear is a bad idea, but one on one its not impossible. Just play smart and always to your advantage.the biggest thing is those core skills, and getting one weapon into proficiency(I suggest AR its a noob tube that is also the most powerful weapon in the end game, although the Scrambler Rifle might unseat it we'll see). I'm lucky in a way, I can't play until next friday, so I get to see which weapons take the cake. And btw, I can go militia and do amazing, but that is because I have wpnry 4, SS 1, and AR prof 3 |

I have less that 8 mill and im not even remotely in a bad position. Just get basic gear, your core skills, and whatever weapons you so desire to use. Wait until you have been playing the game longer before making your choice of which racial dropsuit you like, refining your characters roles and tactics. Im sitting at 6 mil give or take. Im plan to make an entirely Amarr based character. Now it will take me some more time to get what I want but I realise that since I enjoy the game, and am getting whole bunch of new things Im not worried about working for my skills again. Also for some unknown reason Ill do pretty badly some games with my proto stuff.....but as soon as I switch out to militia man Ill do some crazy stuff. How many times do I have to say this, I've been playing for three months, I know how everything works |
