Point is you're judging balance in lolpubs
Why don't you try out this same suit in a competitive environment? Against Proto Assault suits and AR's?
Then come back and give your little feedback. I wish I can even lend you my heavy proto suits and HMG's. You'll see just how much it shreds |

You'll see just how much it shreds Sorry, don't have the SP to get proto heavy ;) Considering I do just as well in both suits, I think it will scale upwards well.
And that's where you're wrong. Me and a few other heavies have posted in the feedback section about this for months. It does not scale up with other suits and classes.
It's a HUGE misconception, and people continue to judge the class based on pub games.
I think it's one of the reasons CCP decided to lower its price and make every suit cost the same, or about the same. Instead of buffing the suit to scale up with other classes, just lower the cost, and nerf the HMG.
Now you'll see allot more proto heavies, but also proto assaults. We can't compare this build to the next, so we'll have to see how it plays out this time. I don't expect much difference in competitive games, but in pubs I expect heavies will get killed allot easier. |
