There are warriors in dust interested in more than just towing the line. Some want to become mercenaries and get paid for their skills. Steps are in motion to create a system so that those who need to hire ringers can find good ones. But there is no system in place to tell which available merc is the best, other than reputation.
What I want to create is a group of knowledgeable players who will rate the mercs who come to us. Each merc will squad up with a number of us for at least 1 hour, then each rater will give the merc a rating 1-10. The score will then be averaged between all the raters and that will be their rating. They can re-apply for a rating after a certain amount of time.
The raters will have to be pretty knowledgeable in the game. They will also be able to judge without bias (no "if you don't use an AR you're a noob d-bags).
This service will be pretty valuable IF we can execute it properly. If our ratings are trusted, mercenary corporations will use them to figure out who to hire. Soon, only those who get rated through us will be hireable. That power can be pretty lucrative.

This sounds really interesting, and exactly the sort of thing CCP builds for; "we give you the tools, you provide the content" and all that. Get your raters, ensure impartiality, and send me a message. I'll be the first logi to volunteer. |

Sounds like a great idea, once I get around the mechanics of the new build I would be interested in doing this, even if just to find out what rating I can achieve :) |

I tank, have taken assault suit to proto, use scout suits as my main suit, and I'm an expert in the use of shotguns and mass drivers. I know next to nothing about being a heavy. I am a logi on my tanker but only run on the ground when I'm forced to.
So I need a few good heavys, dropship pilots, AR experts, and logis. I need people who know what team based tactics are.
Solo play should be down-scored, even if they are a 1 man army.
People can also be rated on their ability to command. Strong squad leads and field commanders will be needed when the a corporations usuals are MIA. |

Im fairly knowlegable across the bord, ive tested all weapons in the game and classes fairly extensively. I hate im game for being a judge |
