This is in response to posts asking if EVE players where willing to sell the codes for the dust items in the EVE collectors edition.
I have found interested parties on the EVE forums, and received a all clear from a CCP petition, so any one who is interested please post below. The voucher codes for the dust Item will be sent out on or around the 7th of may. If anyone has a web site that they would be willing to use to organize this better please let me know below. Other then for these two reasons please do not post in this thread.
The complete text of the petition response is below for those who are interested, also please note the warning in the second paragraph. Keep in mind that there is no real way to ensure the seller won't use the code and then try to sell it. If you come up with a way to prevent abuse by both parties please post it here so others can make use of it. I am only acting as an intermediary connecting interested parties, and as such will not accept any responsibility for scams.
the petition reads: "When the Collectors edition box is purchased, the codes become the legal property of the person paying for the box. CCP does not have any way of enforcing or monitoring the transactions performed between players using these codes (Between Dust and EVE players).
We can only advise that players proceed with these transactions at their own risk and that they are fully aware of the potential risks involved in doing so. Any issues that occur will be the responsibility of the original owner of the code during these transactions and CCP will not intervene." |

Hmm, I wonder if there is a way for someone (Chribba, for example) to enter the code but not redeem it, basically checking it's still valid, then a third party trade for ISK would be possible - well at least for those of us with EVE accounts (and EVE ISK). |

Given that it will have to go thru the PSstore that is a possibility, but with out a third party to to hold the money in escrow its more abusable them ebay. |

That why I mentioned Chribba, he's arguably the most well known and trustworthy 3rd party in EVE, with something like 60 - 70 trillion ISK in sales secured through him.
EDIT: He also plays Dust, so thats helpful. |

The item set includes a scrambler rifle. Are you saying that people with the code will get the scrambler a week earlier?

Yes pre-order is only for he amarr drop uplink, the actuall suits and weapons will be on a physical card when the collectors is shipped sometime in october.
Another option would be to wait until player trading is introduced and then just trade them outright. |

Edit: @JL3Eleven This really is the best option I can think of but barely better then a straight trade. Would be nice if we could get a trusted thrid party.
i might sell some, but they won't be cheap. (and we're talking november, you know?) |

Edit: @OP I would love to do the trading thing but the only way everyone could feel the safest at this point would be for the items to go to Ebay. They most likely would bring more I believe. Just my thoughts though. And I would also be interested. This

Also note that PSN codes are region locked (got caught out on this one myself). So, any US codes purchased will not work on an EU account. :-) |

I am a dedicated amarr logi, and scrambler user.
I wasn't ready to fork out $150 just for 4-5 BPOs that I would use.
If anyone is willing to, I'll try to buy them for isk from them when player trading opens up, or by other means of transferring isk.
Thanks :) |

I'm willing to pay ISK (or something with a little more real world value) for an EU code with the Amarr Templar BPO's. |
