I did a quick calc; if you have under 8M SP; you could be in for a rude awakening. Simply put; a proto suit, plus lv5 Engy & Circ; you are looking at roughly 4.8M SP ; meaning more then 1/2 your SP goes into your suit and max out its fitting potential.
Something to think on If you haven't seen IWS's excel sheet on chromosome skills multipliers compared to uprising multipliers, circuitry and engineering are 5x multipliers. Even though prototype weapons and modules are easier to get, it's going to be difficult to put them on lower tier suits without dumping a lot of SP into those skills. |

Even though prototype weapons and modules are easier to get, it's going to be difficult to put them on lower tier suits without dumping a lot of SP into those skills. how about go do a calc, as i know the new multipliers. 5x maxed is ~ 1.5M SP give or take. Double that is ~3M ; then ~1.8M for proto suit. So we are back at my ~4.8-5M SP for a proto suit and max fitting. Thank you & come again True, but if you ignore core skills, you won't be getting the full usage out of that prototype suit. Having extra slots and a significantly larger CPU/PG pool to work from is a nice bonus, but are you really going to have that much advantage against someone that has those core skills capped and using STD/ADV equipment? That's why so many proto suits die to STD/ADV in this build. Prototype makes you marginally better, but it's not an "I win button." If anything, that target on your chest gets bigger because opposing players make more money for killing you. |
