Haha, no not really. That's a lie. I like tanks the way that they are now. But, back to the point! I can't wait to try out these new light tanks (because really, that is what these Enforcers are supposed to be: light tanks with low defense and high speed), especially the shield versions, because I can't help but think that they'll be Troll Tanks. The kind of tanks that you're supposed to drive into a problem with a head on collision, then back up and leave so ******* fast that the only people who will remember that you were there will be those who gave up their AV profession after tanks vanished from the face and arse ends of the EvE universe.
I'm sure that this effect was designed with LAVs in mind, but I wonder...

Can I make this happen in my Madrugar?
Wait. Kitten. Madrugars are marauders, aren't they? I can't remember, and I don't have the game in front of me!
Anyways, in hopeful news

Quote:* Marauder HAVs are temporarily removed for rework
It's clear that CCP likes the idea of Marauders and wants to put them back into the game as soon as possible. I'm going to start a one man petition to change the SoonGäó date to soon!

Madrugar isn't a Marauder.
That would be the Surya. |

Hell I dont know why Tankers are complaining I have seen people in tanks essentially rolling what Enforcers will be.
The roll up with a massive Railgun turbo it right into point blank range of the enemy tank and let it have it destroying the troublesome gunlogi or sagaris is the space of seconds before disappearing out of sight. |

Yeah but the problem now is that's all everyone will use is railguns. I want to continue using my blaster |

BUT THANK GOD WE GET WIND SOUNDS WHEN WE GO FAST I know it felt totally wrong when I going fast, why is there no wind sounds plus I always hated how cheap tanks ever so are. the cost is something every tank driver was asking for... well at least LAV might be cheaper now because free was not cheap enough |

It isn't a sound effect, it's a cheesy visual effect of "snow" blowing toward your wind screen even if your ship is going straight up.
It's there to make you feel that you are moving fast but it mostly just gets in the way of your vision. The problem is that only the pilot can view it. We should petition CCP to draw lines behind the ship just like in the comic books so that the folks on the ground see that the ship is going fast too. |

Problem with Railguns was partly due to incorrect damage bonuses from skills. Not sure the specifics on what the problem was, but people with NO Damage mods and high-level Railgun skills were hitting MUCH harder than the damage calculations should allow for, and damage mods weren't over-buffing their damage, just compounding the problem of already-over-buffed damage from skills.
If whatever the glitch was is fixed in Uprising, Railguns will be brought back in line with other weapons. |
