Especially when I use a Gek and shoot an advance suit and it does jack **** to their shields and I use my entire clip just to get to the start point of the armor. But when I run an advance suit, and somebody just looks at me, and shoots a few shots at me, my shields are gone, and im left with maybe 40-50% armor left... HUH im not gana lie but I do feel butthurt sometimes....

Any idea what modules the suit you are hitting or the weapon that is hitting you are modded by? |

You do know that the Plasma AR does no damage to shields, don't you? (By no damage I mean, less damage. Even thou it depends).
You think just because you have a Gek-38, you'll **** people, without knowing how to use it.
A piece of advise... If you have problems with shields, use Flux grenades.
Also damage amps are bugged and you can stack them. Your enemy probably has them stacked.

Actually It was:
* plasma (hybrids) moderately effective against shields and armor (high in both energy and temperature);
* explosives effective against armor, less effective against shields;
* laser effective against shields, less effective against armor.
But yeah, damage mod stacking and shield extenders stacking. Also sometimes the server just hates you and no damage is done to enemies that are not even moving. Then again if everything is alright you can be a beast with militia AR and make black suits rage... |

I read a post where damage mods were tested and they showed they were working correctly, it was the skills that broke the numbers.
Hit registration is a pain in this game, especially with high rate of fire weapons for me. My SMG has probably accounted for 5 kills in my entire waste of time trying to play it. It's like trying to smack someone with a screaming cat by the tail, that twitches everywhere but where you want it to hit.
As a note, you are probably being hit in the head if you're being downed so quickly, but you'll also find that a tanked Assault suit will be running around with twice as many shields on average than a base assault setup. So of course you're only denting the shields if that's the case. Having a Laser in your squad helps in that case. |
