hey CCP,
w/ new suits on the way, i noticed all logi "passive" bonuses are a "+1hp to armor repair rate per level". Does that mean once you hit your proto suit you will have a built in +5 armor rep W/O needing a module; or would it be +5 on any armor repair module? |

... * Amarr Logistics * Logistics Suit Bonus: +1 HP to dropsuit armor repair rate per level * Amarr Logistics Bonus: +5% to efficacy of armor repairer modules per level
Let's use this as an example, from my interpretation, what this means is:
"+1 HP to dropsuit armor repair rate per level" when you use ANY Logistic Suit (any race) "+5% to efficacy of armor repairer modules per level" when you use Amarr Logistic Suit
EDIT: Reading the post inside the topic! But yeah, I think it means the amount you heal from anything, (ie., enemies using Repair Guns on you and modules) |

that came to mind; but i quickly dismissed the idea; as then it basically says all logi's must run a repair tool. If look at assault passive skill; it benefits them all w/o a penalty (as "requiring" to use a piece of equipment is a penalty in this case to make use of this bonus) |

If you look at the dropsuit stats, it has a column for 'armor repair rate'.
Almost positive that by matching the terms, it means all logi suits are getting passive armor reps without modules.
The amarr one confuses me a little, however they dont say 'Remote Repair Tools or Equipment" and the term, "Modules" is consistent with passive armor repair modules in the 'dropsuit modules' section of the market.
From what I can see... amarr logis will have passive armor reps without a module, and then if they decide to equip a module on top of that, they will have increased passive reps (not increased reps for repair tools).
Of course this is all conjecture but its what I'm thinking from just matching terms on dropsuits and in the market. |

I read it that way too, so if we're right... then we could get up to 20 HP/S
That's a lot of HP though... |

>.>? You repair stuff with a repair tool, pretty sure its adding a single point to armor repair per sec to repair tools.
Or I am way wrong and for some reason Logis are getting a core passive +5 Armor hp a sec, which is like having a Complex self armor repair without having to fit one. Plus repair tools arnt Modules, they are Equipment. |

it will probably be a bonus to the passive module, so the upper tier (assuming it stays as it is now) will repair 10 hp a second.
a repair tool would be considered a remote module. |

The way I understand it is once you hit level 5 Logi skill you get an inbuilt 5 HP/s armour repper when using a Logi suit. And if you go Amarr Logi every armour repper module you use (NOT equipment) gets an efficacy bonus. So I guess it will be kinda easy for Logis to get a 20 HP/s armour repair rate, which makes armour tanking somewhat useful now compared to shield tanking. |

if it works as it does in EvE it will add to the effectiveness of your repair tool.
at least that's how I read it...

Edit forgot to mention I reall want to know this aswell. FYP snipers look for points, if you revive someone than its free points to kill them again. and stopping the logi from doing other stuff and standing there in the open. |

I'm pretty sure using a Logi suit will give you the highest-level bonus of any Logi suit you're skilled in, and they won't stack the way you're suggesting. If they DO, awesome, but I doubt it. |

I would like to know if you could stack 4 generic "logi suit bonuses", though that's a huge SP sink. I also think it's unclear if the "logi suit bonus" applies outside the racial variant. If you skilled into Gallente Logistics, what are your logistic suit options outside of Gallente logistics? Militia suits? Because Gallente Medium frames aren't logistics suits. I'm not sure what the point of calling the bonus "logistic suit bonus" is otherwise though - if it is race specific then that's a huge text error. |

It's huge to stack any one or two to level 5, but it's MUCH less huge to stack all of them to level 2 or 3 before maxing out the preferred option, and that will still - if they stack - give you 11 - 14 HP/s regen rate without needing any modules equipped. If they stack like this, I'm definitely going Logi-crazy. While also saying, "yeah they're OP. That's why I AM one". |
