Type 2,B,vk1 Assault suits have basically the same shield recharge delay as the Scout suit, but more than DOUBLE the shield capacity, and all you need is one good recharger, to match the actual shield recharge rate.
That same shield capacity and recharge rate, allows it to engage Heavies in 1v1 situations on the regular, with impunity.
I know this, because I play Assault now. Less headaches. Easy mode. No need to use your brain, specialize and adapt. Just look at something and it dies. Oh yeah, and strafe a little bit when fighting other ARs.
Having a kb/m helps too.
With how things are, it's a noob weapon on a noob suit, that convinces noobs that they're hot $hit.
Of course, it doesn't work well against a well coordinated squad... but it really is an irritating "jack-of-all-trades" class. CORRECTION: "master of all trades".
