I personally think this is a good idea and should be considered before releasing the game on the 6th or the 14th specifically for faction warfare insta battles...
If your going into an instant battle in the new faction warfare what about separating already made squads into a battle against already made squads. So players such as new players who will join an instant battle will go in squad-less and join a squad-less battle. There they can squad up by themselves.
While already made squads are battling against already made squads.
This will fix new players from being pubstomped and stop the tears from falling. They are fighting against other players who didnt squad up meaning theres a less chance that certain side/ team will pubstomp the opposing team.
For instance-
6man squad- joins a faction warfare battle- they chose amarr side. Another 6man squad join the same amarr side and now its 12 on one team. The other side- aka Galentai has 2 sqauds (aka- 12 merc's) of some random corp on the Galentai side.
Now there is a decent battle to fight without it being so easy.
I hope you, the players and the Dev team take a look at this and think about it... |

Faction warfare battles are not instant. If you go into Instant Battle you can't end up in faction warfare. Faction warfare battles are seeded based on where EVE players are fighting in space. You have to choose a planet, district, and side to fight for from the menu. Possibly the starmap.
Faction warfare will have no matchmaking (At least I hope not) and you can send an entire team from one corporation to fight at one time. Not just squads. Or, yes, just squads, but as many squads from the same corporation as want to join. If the other side does not send enough players to slots on the opposing team the battle will just play out with whoever decides to join the fight.
New Players should get stomped in faction warfare because they are not pub battles. |
