Why not simply remove AV grenades all together? At the moment it proves for better to specc into grenadier for AV than actuall AV weapons, Swarm launcher can't use against Infrantry but does alot to tanks, Forge gun is unwieldly and slow to charge but delivers huge payload per shot, this is fair since those weapons come with disadvantages, your good AV but your man on man fighting is hampered.
But with Grenadier letting you take AV grenades, you can just carry advance or proto packed AV grenades AND keep that nasty infrantry killer gun. Only takes 3 proto nades to kill most tanks from what I seen. ONE MAN! one man who has no real disadvantage for taking what is probably the best AV option going. Swarms can miss or be evaded, Forge guns take so long to charge you maybe killed before you can even fire, Plasma cannons are one shot and still have a travel time I beleive too. AV Grenades are a case of going "Oh a tank, better just run over this hill and quickly throw 2-3 nades and take out like 500,000+ isk of tank without having to worry about running into someone on the way.
People complain tankers redline and that they play without risk, but where the risk in taking AV grenades with your AR ect? |

Not long ago I was thinking THE best class would've been assault with AR and AV grenades, your ready for literally ANY situation.
I see the term "Rock,paper, scissors" thrown about alot. Fair enough if Tanks are rock. then Plasma cannons, forge guns and swarm launchers should be paper where as other infrantry are scissors. But that prospect goes out the window when scissors beats rock as well.

You theorie would work if we would not have LAVs but with LAVs in the game I am stong against taking out the AV Nades.
You are right, killing a tank with 3 Nades is too fast, I think the best option might be give a HP boost to tanks, because taking down LAVs with 1 or 2 Middle AV-Nades should definately stay the way it is. It's a glass cannon vehicle and should be destroyed this fast.
I agree, free LAV's are a problem since they can run over proto's ect at no cost but have you seen the SP requirments for LAV's? they exceed even tanks. |

With nothing to show for them since the infantry repair tool doesn't work, marginal CPU/PG boost, and a nerf on your turrets. Huge ripoff. CCP, Y U hate Vehicles?!
Because CoD never had vehicles and so people couldn't understand why their AR's ect wasn't able to kill something so it must be OP and needs nerfing |
