What differnce does it make? we're all in the same boat, the SP costs apply to us all. Now it just means you have to ACTUALLY play to EARN your top tier stuff. People are making the tactical error here in thinking CCP just wants a pure FPS game.
Too many people have become comfy with games like COD where the prospect of having to earn something is beyond people. In comparison to EVE, the game this game was made to support doesn't have active SP, so be happy you even get that.
So it's harder to get your toys, on other FPS games I don't beleive people kick off because they have to wait a bit longer to get their next gun.
But if the idea off earning your gear is too much I'm sure that copy of COD or KZ collecting Dust on your shelf will be happy to take you back. |

I'd be up for CCP takin passive SP away and leaving only active, so you only get literally what you earn through play. AFK'ers are kicking over CCP's sandcastle as they build it |

We are lucky that we get Active SP, CCP could turn around and say "well it worked for EVE!". Doesn't mean I hate it or something. Think ya misunderstanding me |

Dropsuits should be sp cost x4 at most. Keeping dust at no more than 20 years of skills should be a god damn poster in the dev offices. I'm sickened, this better not still be around in 2-3 months becuase after testing the new build you won't he seeing wasting my time
Sorry didn't mean to seem rude didn't see ya post bud. I see what your saying, it may take awhile to get ALL proto suits but why would you? CCP is trying to make players specialise in a set role, meaning you can't hybrid class yourself without penalty. Dust we actually play to earn our SP, where as in EVE you have to wait pretty much.
I'm assuming you taken into account that Dust gives active and passive SP as well as throwing in holidays where we can earn more. Where as EVE you only get passive sp. How did you come to your conclusion btw, did you use weekly caps as a basic ref and worked out how long it'd take literally to get Proto on all suits? |

This is not counting any weapons or other skills you might want Dont see why anyone will want to get all protosuits , lets hope atleast in uprising you get more sp in matches
think his point was how expensive SP wise they are, which is a valid point, alot of FPS players would feel at their limit when their going for proto, but like you said..why would anyone want to specc into another role unless they capped the one their working on.
