I know this is all probably pretty pointless since Uprising isn't out yet, but I was looking over the logistic suits and well...
Logi maths! (assuming passive skills have stayed the same):
Amarr: 375 EHP, 3 H slots, 3 L slots, and 3 equipment, only one that gets a sidearm Minmatar: 300 EHP, 4 H slots, 4 L slots, and 4 equipment Caldari: 337.5 EHP, 5 H slots, 3 L slots, and 3 Equipment Gallenete 337.5 EHP, 3 H slots, 5 L slots, 4 equipment (probably so that it can have something over the Caldari version, since armor suucks so bad)
I think it's pretty obvious that the Amarr get the short end of the stick here, just 1 Complex Shield Extender would pretty much bring the Minmatar suit to it's base EHP. It does get a sideweapon, but then the Minmatar suit gets 1 more low and equipment slot as well, not to mention that it's the slowest of the bunch.
CCP, why you hate Amarr?
I think it should be 1 sidearm = 1 equipment, like with our current scout suits, so the Amarr suit should be given one more Low Powered slot to even it out with the other suits.
I mean, the Side weapon is nice, but the Amarr suit still looks kind of UP compared to the others.

Anyway, come Uprising, Logis shall be... Immortal |

Magpie Raven wrote:The Amarr Logi is supposed to be more combat focused. Able to fight alongside the Assault guys but still be medic. So it wont be as fancy as the other logi suits. I guess thats what the sidearm is for. But it could use an extra Low slot Right. My reasoning is that the Ammar Logi's 75 extra HP could be taken away and replaced with a high powered slot. The sidearm would be replaced by one equipment slot, but then that leaves one low powered slot unaccounted for. |

All this time I was comparing it to to Minmatar suit, but what about the caldari suit?
The Caldari suit could potentially equip 5 shield extenders, that's 330.
337.5 + 330 = 667.5 EHP, 555 of that is pure shields, 112.5 armor.
The Amarr suit can equip 3, that's 198
375 + 198 = 573 EHP, that's 18 more HP than just the Caldari's shields. And 98 less HP in total.
Keep in mind that both have 3 low slots and 3 equipment slots left.
So, is that side arm worth 98 HP? |

Agreed, for all I know, it could be the other way around and all the other suits are actually OP, or perfectly balanced, it's best to just wait for now. |

That side arm doesn't look that nice now does it? It either need it's base HP increased or another low slot. Don't forget that the Caldari Logistics bonus is improved shield extenders. It makes it so very very tempting. Crap |

Garrett Blacknova wrote:So you're complaining that a suit with more HP than any other in its class, and an extra weapon slot, AND with better armour repair capabilities than any other suit in the game, is underpowered.
It's not going to be the best support/medic Logi, but it'll be an ideal combat fitting. More base HP means little when all the others easily surpass it with a shield extender. That said, this might not actually be a problem with the Amarr suit. I just looked at the other suits, and frankly, all the other Logi suits look far better than their Assault counterparts. Only time will tell, I guess. |

Only time will tell, I guess. You're aware it can fit a shield extender too, right? You seem to be underestimating the passives AND the value of a sidearm. The Minmatar only needs 1 to match it in EHP, after that both can fit 3 more extenders.
The only real difference between the two is that it trades a low slot and equipment slot for the side arm. Is the side arm worth it? I don't know. We'll see, but keep in mind that something similar happens with our current proto scout suits, and they only have to give up an equipment slot, not a low slot.
Edit: wait, never mind, they trade the side arm for the equipment slot, not the other way around. Point still stands. |

For 750 EHP with 637.5 shields, I'd wear the Gallenete Suit in hot pink. |
