So you're complaining that a suit with more HP than any other in its class, and an extra weapon slot, AND with better armour repair capabilities than any other suit in the game, is underpowered.
It's not going to be the best support/medic Logi, but it'll be an ideal long-term combat fitting. Load it up with reppers and maybe a plate, pour on the nanohives, and go nuts. Near-infinite ammo, and the ability to basically insta-heal after each fight. |

It's not going to be the best support/medic Logi, but it'll be an ideal combat fitting. More base HP means little when all the others easily surpass it with a shield extender. That said, this might not actually be a problem with the Amarr suit. I just looked at the other suits, and frankly, all the other Logi suits look far better than their Assault counterparts. Only time will tell, I guess. You're aware it can fit a shield extender too, right?
You seem to be underestimating the passives AND the value of a sidearm. |

The Minmatar only needs 1 to match it in EHP, after that both can fit 3 more extenders. The only real difference between the two is that it trades a low slot and equipment slot for the side arm. Is the side arm worth it? I don't know. We'll see, but keep in mind that something similar happens with our current proto scout suits, and they only have to give up an equipment slot, not a low slot. Edit: wait, never mind, they trade the side arm for the equipment slot, not the other way around. Point still stands. And if they both fill their low slots with Armour Repairers, the Amarr suit gets almost the same effectiveness with less PG/CPU use by fitting only 3 reppers with +25% effectiveness on each, meaning it can more easily fit other things - including that sidearm which the Minnie can't get. If you can both fight down to a reload, but one of you has the option of quick-swapping to another weapon instead of reloading, who's going to win the fight?
In combat, yes, the sidearm matters. A lot. |

Suits don't have "levels". Skills do. Unless you count meta level, in which case they probably get a 45% bonus on Protosuits. So I think it's the level of the skill. |
