If that poster was assuming the Minmatar Fighter Drone model from EVE will be used in Dust, I think we can confirm that's not the case from what we've seen of the Caldari and Gallente design, and especially now that those models are going to be used by EVE Valkyrie.

Just one of them would literally be shooting OBs direct-fire style. It's part of why I'm a little cross-eyed when it comes to Valkyrie. They've always had a cockpit with a person in it that doesn't fit the describe proportions of the craft, but now they're making that official with Valkyrie. Kinda curious how that's supposed to make sense.

Not to mention that they're being used in VALKYRIE. Actually most space craft are not built for atmo combat, you have to deal with air and how the ship ill react to air pressure. A fighter in space can look much different to a fighter in atmo due to aerodynamics. Also, they are constructed out of Tritanium, which is only usable at extremely low temperatures such as the vaccuum of space.

A continuous-fire laser similar to the Laser Rifle would be a pretty sick vehicle weapon.
