I don't have any illusions about knowing everything and it think it's vital for the CPM to consult field experts in regard to everything from specific weapons, suits, and vehicles to types of gameplay. I think the most valuable feedback will always come from the players.

If I see things that I will hurt the health of the game in the long run I will do everything in my power to stop it. Non of the meta game or all of the hard work all the us as testers have put into the game matters if Dust fails.

I think the Single Transferable Vote system as used in electing CSM 8 is one way to mitigate dead weight candidates. I think the CPM will need to watch how CSM 8 develops and see how STV and merit -based travel impact the quality of the council.

in the end I feel that the community and players should have their voices heard and any processes put into place ensure that everyone's vote counts and isn't tossed out on a whim.

You are going to put the entire system of checks and balances on a single annual vote? That strikes me as incredibly naive, at best.
