So I have heard alot of rumors and can't find any definite answers.
On May 6th will we lose our officer weapons?
Also what in our inventory will be taken and refunded with ISK, besides skillbooks? Is it everything that we have bought, and received (ie Salvage) that we have in our inventory? Or is it just stuff that will no longer be relevant, like our old Dropsuits, since they are being replaced?
Everyone seems to have a different story, and the only thing I could find was 1 line in the Dev Blogs that said "The refund value of ISK and AUR items will be based on the market value at the time of the re-spec." It didn't clairfy what would be refunded.
If anyone knows I am sure many people would be eager to hear.

Its all apparently still a secret. We will probably have to find out by going into assets after the new build. They dont seem like they are going to release any dev blog or patch notes before the 6th, who knows but CCP, and they are not telling. |

Since nobody has any certitude about anything, don't get your hopes up that the community can help you...
We are all just guessing till we get some sort of definitive answer from CCP. (I hoped they had shed some light on this during fanfest, but unless I missed that part... they didn't)
There are still sooo many questions that are unanswered regarding these refunds it isn't even funny anymore. (officer weapons, bling bling dropsuits that are removed, AUR militia items (since they are militia... they require no skills... so will they even get a refund etc etc etc)
Would be a good move from CCP to finally get us some 'real confirmed info' about this... ... |

I'm hoping the lot goes iv got enough gear stashed to fund my own Pc army :-P and still have enought isk spare to attack someone else :-) |

AFTER they have made whatever changes they intend to make, and removed the items in question. |

My guess is this:
99% chance they are getting rid of all of the stuff you have bought. Reasoning: you will not be able to use it with the Skill Reset so we are gifting the ISK back to you.
99% chance they are getting rid of items you bought with AUR. Reasoning: you will not be able to use it with the Skill Reset so we are gifting the AUR back to you.
5% chance they are getting rid of the boosters you bought with AUR. Reasoning: Start fresh with your AUR. This seems unlikely as the notion of selling Active Boosters much cheaper and than giving a refund is a little wonky.
20% chance they are getting rid of officer stuff. Reasoning: You won't be able to use it anyway, so we are just taking it. We also don't want a billion of these running around on our official launch.
70% chance they are taking all salvage. Reasoning: How can they tell what you bought and what you found? They are better off turning everything that you have into its ISK value. (Make me wonder what an officer item is worth for cash value.)
Like everyone else, entirely speculation and worth about as much as an Honorary Doctorate in Cryptozoology.

These dudes don't have a damn clue. I don't think they know. They are just going to mash some buttons on the 6th and see what happens. |
