Has anyone done the math on active vs passive SP boosters?
In other words, how much playing would one have to do in a month for the active booster to be more cost-effective than the passive booster? |

Assuming you hit the SP cap exactly, you will get 95200 sp for a 7 day active booster.
A 7 day passive booster will give you exactly 84000 sp.
It's actually fairly close if you hit the cap.
Now, there are some ways you can get even more out of the active booster, but it's tricky. If you activate the booster mid-week, and haven't earned ANY active SP so far that week, and cap out, and then when weekly cap resets, you quickly cap again, that will mean you get 190400 SP from a single week long booster. However, that involves you specifically NOT playing for a few days after cap reset.
Also, if you play a LOT beyond the cap, it will still boost the sp you recieve past the soft-cap. |

I get more by playing the **** out of the active booster
minimum I get in about 50 games past cap so an extra 25k sp though most weeks it's usually close to 100 extra games |

Thank you! This confirms what I thought: for most casual players who don't hit their cap every day or even most days, passive booster gives more return on investment than active.

That would obviously bring highest SP gains, but it would also cost double. And that was not the point of the OP question, it was about ROI. |
