I have several DUST friends that never write bug reports. I have taken to writing a few of them myself but it is better if the one experiencing the problem does the report as they might recall something that I never knew about or connected with the problem. Normally I only write ones that I can reproduce.
If you are a Beta tester please write a bug report regarding the problem you have discovered. This is different from asking Devs to help you this afternoon or anything to do with AUR loss. Be polite, clear and use paragraphs with sentences that allows some third party, QA tester or Dev, to try and reproduce the problem.
If the problem is map specific the map feedback forum is the place to report the issue. I have gotten many problems fixed with a simple explanation and a Grid Location from the included JPEG for each map type.

Now, after nagging you so politely all you Kittens, New Berries and Vets don't write a bug report if you can find your problem acknowledged in the Weekly Updates for either Technical Support/Bugs or the Feedback/Requests forums. They are stickied on the top of their pages. Go to the original post and comment there. Nothing more than "Happened to me GMT (date/time)" should be necessary.
If you insist that your particular problem is the most important in the entire universe and the Devs must stop eating lunch to fix it and make your Little Kitten Face smile once again ... well, I will probably treat you badly and call you variations on Kitten. So be prepared.
If it is a problem related to lost AUR, non-delivery of purchased items the proper place for customer support is [email protected] and note that it is a proper customer support. Be polite, exact and explain how the system didn't work and what you would like done to replace the Gunloggi (with a complete description of modules/weapons) or whatever the heck is the problem. Don't forget that many items can get lost between the client and the server. It is rare but is normally solved by restarting your character (leave game, restart DUST, choose that char again Not Terminate and restart). That will sync your PS3 with the server and many issues can be resolved that way.
Customer support has solved many problems but seriously don't expect them to want to solve everything. They might send me your name and tell me to Super Troll you. Oh I wish they would. They haven't but I am available if they ever need me.
Good Luck down in the DUST.

CCP's support protocols seem to be a wild mess, it's no wonder people are confused and don't bother.
In some cases they seem to want threads, but then they ignore them. But then they say you can email support@dust514, with a very specific set of info in the email to create a "petition" (of course, then they tell you must have an EVE login to update the petition...which is incorrect). And then they have an option at http://dust514.com/beta/support/ to create a ticket.
I gave up on the email petitions. CCP seems to lose emails constantly. |

There's nothing really to report anymore, the incomplete renders have been reported, lag and freezes, all the bugs. We've pretty much weeded out all the stuff for this build. Sure some of the bugs still happen but they've all been reported. |

The maps are still valid and need to be maintained even as new maps are added.
I found two new bugs these last two weeks. Software this complex is never free of bugs, just free of adequate testing. Or testers not writing bug reports would look the same I suppose.
The login required to investigate your petition is your PSN account. |

No, that depends upon how you created your petition. If you created it by email, they tell you to login on the *EVE* site to update it. If you complain, you can get them to let you update via email, but, clearly, they haven't thought through DUST tech support very well. They come from a mindset that every DUST player is an EVE player. |
