So my buddy was over the other day and we were going through our stock of ps3 and xfail games(he has an xfail. i mean xbox ) when I realized both systems were kind of lacking for co-op games. I would love to be able to play dust split screen with a friend while on the same system. I would also like to be able for him to be able to access his fitting and for me to have mine without us sharing fittings like they do in Cod.

While I do love couch coop games and think there should be more of them, I don't know how this would work in DUST. |

If were going to have a training room of some sorts that lets us test new equipment that could easily be offline. it wouldn't be a core feature just a little extra for people who do play and cant always. having an offline mode doesn't necessitate that its casual it just means you can do more stuff with it.
The main part of dust is the PC but the pub matches are fairly casual which is what they modeled it for anyway. While dust may be deeper game than cod it does have some casual hooks and this is a fairly simply feature from an overall standpoint that would go well with the pub matchs. you wont see it in corp battles but during pub when you just messing around it would be a ok feature that builds on dust social aspects. I dont see why they shouldn't have the option in game.
As for getting one screen working first I figured that would be a given.

I know they are already going to add that feature that's why i suggested they allow it to be used off line. |

If they have opponents lined up for PVE, I'm sure they could incorporate a minor campaign/training/challenge mode into a build that wouod work offline. |

yeah ive requested this before, the GF isnt really in to that many games, but only stuff we can play together, its the only reason i ever purchased COD.
Im sure there are lots of people in this situation that wants to play with someone in their house without getting another PS3 and tv |
