Not sure if serious. Remember when heavies had that huge HP pool before the nerf? My suggestion was that they go back to that but allow stuff like AV nades' and swarm launchers target them with scaled down damage. It would have been a good counter while making more people spec into AV so tanks didn't have to get nerfed. Despite my forum trolling, I'm a strong advocate against nerfing unless it's something game breaking like sharpshooter. |

Well we got buffed, so I guess i'll be seeing you a couple weeks right here back to crying again. Crying no. I just understood where the players were coming from. There is like 5-6 Heavies every single game, not bad for a UP suit. Perhaps maybe if ya put the time in your gun game as you do in the forums ya might not have had to cry in the first place. You possibly (and I stress that cause doubtful) could of been one of the heavies that are actually good and didn't need the buff to be relevant in this game. Now that sharpshooting is gone, you'll have to work on your gun game too instead of praying and spraying across the map with stacked damage mods. Might have to invest in some shield extenders too since the person you're shooting at will be in range to shoot back. Just be sure to watch out for those flux grenades... and scrambler rifles. |

A general principle that should really apply across all things in this game. It would have been nice to see the suit that jenza (or whomever) in action to see what it could withstand. Didn't see a lot of people getting 3-shotted, so that HP pool might actually be useful instead of going down faster than a white house intern. |

Heavies got good at what they were doing until those ADHD CoD ******s cried, tanks dominated because they were to lazy to spec into AV so militia missiles and AV 'nades got a huge buff, and my beloved Mass Driver is probably next since it's going to be more reliable now that the splash damage glitch is fixed. You don't keep players by punishing them for playing your game the correct way. |

Heavies were literal tanks, tanks were feared, assaults were fast and capable, scouts were lightning bolts... The game was much faster and intense, heavies had to be chipped away at and avoided in CQC, but the scout could fly in nimbly and jam a shotgun into his face and finish him off quick, and assaults always had an interesting gun dance with the higher health and faster strafe. Iwosh we would go back to that high intensity model, with high stats for everything depending on its role... Exactly what I said, you get to good and they nerf you. |

The first thing that went through my head was "Is the console fanbase mature enough to handle an FPS in the EVE universe?" Guess the answer was a big fat **** no. CCP needs to stop appealing to these scrubs and make the game they intended. Not this middle of the road crap. |

I'm not sure what the damage multiplier for the shotgun is for body or headshots, but it has to be something ungodly to get instagibbed by a one at point blank. Scouts were supposed to be the counter to heavies anyway, but the speed nerf killed any chance of that. If anything knives might work out since the look actually usable in uprising. |

This is silly. You basically create a situation in that there is now no reason to run anything besides heavies, because you would need to run 32 v 16 heavies. The obvious solution is to then just match them in heavies. Welcome to Heavy 514. They heavy should always be a situational role and clearly be punished outside of its limited role. Have you seen the range on the HMG without SS? That's pretty much what it's going to be after uprising. If you use cover and have another decently equipped guy with you, it shouldn't be a problem since this is a team based game and all that. If they got you cornered, well, you better have your new fitting ready. |
