uh yeah, I rarely hit anyone with it at less than 20-30 mph. remember, the shields you have are for stopping a bullet, not a car. significant differences there, a bullet makes a little hole, a car crushes your bones and organs. |

again, your "high quality shields and a ton of armor" are meant for stopping bullets. my car is not a bullet. and a SINGLE 60mm Polycrystalline Plate is more health than everything that isn't a heavy. so you really don't have a ton of armor. |

So you're going to tell me a truck moving, let's say 10 mph, would kill someone as decked out as a heavy? You realize an unarmored human could survive that impact, right?
yes, it takes out your knee, you hit the floor, they come back around and park on the side of your head, Then floor it. or even just hit you dead on, stop while you slide off the hood and then nice and slow(per your request) go over you and crush you like a grape.
or if they're me, they powerslide into you at about 45, and laugh at your impotent swarms and tears. |

Alright, you do all that to kill one guy while the other team is blowing you up. Just as long as we agree that one impact at a relatively low speed won't kill the guy.
in the game mechanics it does, and in physics, that much hitting your spine will paralyze you for life. effectively ending any kind of mercenary job on the spot.
so yes, one won't kill you, but it will take you out of the fight, which as a clone will trigger you or your employers to hit the kill-switch and pop you in fresh.
and the enemy team blowing me up? I laugh at that. took a swarm, got knocked into 2 proxy mines, and that only killed my gunner(alas poor blueberry, I never knew or cared about you.) I then drove away backwards at 60 MpH and got behind a box before the next could even be launched. |
