from reading all the posts and seeing the current timetable, i'm beginning to see something here... our possible reward as beta testers.
aside from having the overall knowledge of the game mechanics, which is probably the biggest thing, we are getting...
1) a head start on SP since January.
2) first dibs on learning the new skill system.
3) first crack at PC to start building our empires.
even for a week, this head start is crucial. considering we already have between a 1 and 10 million SP advantage over everyone else, even with open beta's influx of players, owning planets first will establish us testers firmly over anyone who joins after 5-14. and don't forget the 3x SP reward running this week.
could this be our reward? in some ways it's more valuable than a special suit or something "material". if it is, i'm satisfied with it. |

If we ask for any more then we are just being greedy, don't forget we also got some collectors items ie the black eagles, FDU and STPRO dropsuits. |

Our reward is having the opportunity to contribute to the development via beta access (especially those of us from closed beta). Not all games get a public beta, and those who DO get a public beta.......the developers really don't give a rats a$$ about community feedback (I'm looking at you DICE/EA). |
