I picked the Enforcer class because I thought the name sounded cooler than Assault. Not sure how other classes work, but the Enforcers get some default builds which include the Militia Nanohive. For a new player, getting kills can be troublesome (especially when dealing with advanced and well armed players), but when an ally uses a Nanohive you've deployed, you get 10 WPs each time. The best modes for using Nanohives for points are Ambush and Ambush OMS(?) because the battle lines tend to be more stable and allies are going to be more bunched up in a smaller battlefield compared to Skirmish.
A good place to set a Nanohive is close to allies holding a position, preferably behind cover so they can replenish their ammo safely. Of course, Nanohives can be destroyed fairly easily, but several well placed Nanohives are a good way for beginner players to get points while they get the hang of fighting. |

You want to rake in the War Points as a new player, spec into the low level Drop Uplinks and Nanohives (or just grab the Milita Drop Uplink). Each spawn from you Uplink is +25 War Points.
Each Uplink and Nanohive model has a max number deployed at a time, but you can hit that max for EACH model. So, one 2 Militia Nanohives, 2 Nanohives (vanilla variant), 1 Milita Drop Uplink, 1 Drop Uplink (vanilla), equipped across a couple of Militia Logi fits, can do wonders without too much of a skill point investment. If you get deeper into the Nanohive or Uplink skill trees, those War Points can keep growing to an impressive degree. I wouldn't be surpised if this gets nerfed sooner or later, given the ability to top the match without really being involved in combat. |

We love you too <3 (If we didn't, why would we give you ammo?)
We newberries seem to draw a decent amount of hate, it's nice to be appreciated for a change. We may be terrible, but some of us do try to help out where we can, even if that's only throwing down hives and distracting heavys. |

Can you tell how much nanite clusters are left in the hive when it's been deployed? Does it glow differently than "fresh" one? Or maybe it's "glow sphere" gets smaller?
Two more ??: is one nanite cluster equal to one ammo clip? Does it replenish active weapon only or side arm and nades too?
Thanx |

You cant tell no
1 cluster is equal to a set amout of ammo. Grenades, swarm ammo etc use up more than AR ammo... a HMG can quite happilly deplete a militia nanohive on its own.
It replenishes everything (some can even reapair armor) |

As a later upgrade to the Nanohive, I recommend the K17/D Nanohive (R) which requires Nanocircuitry lvl 4. But this nanohive repairs armour as well as supplies ammo. And unlike the Compact Nanohive which does the same thing, the number of nanites in it is very small so it often depletes while healing before giving ammo. And you can only carry 1, not 2, per slot. The K17/D (R) does have a large number of Nanites and you carry 2 so it can be used over a longer period of time.
Healing Nanohives do heal before giving ammo, but if you heal allies you get +25 WPs for Triage, the same as if you were healing them with your repair guns. So lots of WP to be had there while helping your team.
But having Nanohives down on the field is a great help to your team. And as someone else suggested, drop uplinks help out a great deal too when you are in squads. |

Placement Tips:
When placing Nano Hives, donGÇÖt place them on or in front of the sniper/shooter. They have a little glowing fog dome above them and having to look through that when aiming is annoying. I also donGÇÖt like to be close enough to a Nano Hive to get ammo while shooting, because the message popping up to tell me I got new ammo makes it hard to spot the message saying you got the kill. A bit behind and behind some cover is best. Then when the sniper/shooter can get their ammo when they duck to cover to reload or to avoid incoming fire.
For Drop Uplinks the person will spawn facing in the direction you were facing when you deployed it. If the Reds decide to camp your drop uplink do you want your team to spawn facing the corner, or do you want them to spawn facing out toward where the reds are likely to be standing? Keep this in mind when placing Drop Uplinks. |
