They didn't reveal anything yet.What's the new skill tree look like? how do new skills work? What is basic suits? How much damage do the new weapons do? What PG/CPU do they need? What's the module layout on the new minmatar scout, how is it different than the gallente one? Whats the different between a prototype scout and a prototype light basic suits since the market lists both of them in the dust finals.
What changes are being made? What's the new map? I'm guessing they didn't show it becuase they didn't start yet and they are going to rush the next 18 days to build one from concept art. Or maybe it'll just be an old map with something new. I don't know I listen to the dust keynote *which had 2 hours of content cut* and I don't know anything about the release coming out in 7 days. It's a kittening joke at this point.
Yeah I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in the Dust Keynote, the Dust portion of the CCP Presents was nice, but that was all future vision stuff. They, for the most part, didn't tell us anything that we didn't already know about. They should have provided details about what we know about.
As far as fanfest reveals go, this fanfest was not as well done as previous fanfests have been done. But I fear alot of that is because Incarna/WiS and the "Future Vision" video got them into a lot of trouble with players. These days CCP is much more reserved in what they reveal and how much of it that they do reveal, mostly to keep from painting themselves into corners. |

Yeap they did, but EvE players didn't know about everything coming in the Summer Expansion. We knew almost everything coming in Uprising. The future stuff they talked about was all preceded or succeeded with "We have this ability". They neither confirmed nor denied when or if it was actually coming.
See the real issue as to what DUST will and won't do will heavily depend on what EvE players will and won't allow. EvE players have demonstrated their ability to force CCPs hand and since EvE is subscription game CCP will at the very least push back features, which means that some features that require both EvE and DUST, such as boarding parties or moving Mercs around in space, will be heavily determined by EvE players.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, while I like DUST, it is going to turn out to be the Bast*** child of CCP. The EvE CE demonstrates that, why do DUST players have to buy EvE to be able to get DUST stuff?
The DUST keynote told player exactly what we already knew was coming out on May 6th, the only thing we didn't know about was the May 14th stuff. Even a release date wasn't exactly news to us. The only difference between what we thought we knew and what we didn't know, concerning the release date, was 8 days, that was the difference. Otherwise, the only new information we got actually came during the Q&A when players brought things up.
