If the driver of said vehicle, could retrieve it before a set time they get back a random module from there exploded dropship/tank/LAV. Also a team mate could grap it with the option of returning it back to its previous owner at the end of the match.
And if the enemy gets it, they get isk in the vaule whatever module would have been there(maybe have it split between the team) |

Nice idea, but would probably have to be tied into the whole "harvester" role idea, which is you will remember the whole advancing the core presentation is in CCP's "far future" section of the roadmap. |

Would be pretty cool if the game would remember how many vehicles went down in a particular district, at which the players could go through during the Infestation game mode and salvage the downed vehicles. |

I'm not sure how much that makes sense, considering the clones you are using will likely be killed and the stuff destroyed.
I like the idea of a better salvage system, but I'm not sure this is it. How about every item used in the match have a chance to be salvageable at the end, and the best players get a choice of the top stuff and the bottom players get the least valuable? |

Its not so much for foot soldiers, pretty much just for vehicles.
The guys who do lose tanks(and dropships and even sometimes LAVs) are taking massive losses everytime they get exploded. Giving them a chance to get a mod that can cost 100,000 isk is just a small way to help them re coupe said losses. |
