Heya all!
To celebrate the game officially coming out of beta, I will be hosting a second 24 hour dust 514 charity live stream!
In addition to raising money on the stream, there will also be a charity auction that will also be up for 24 Hours during the stream, the prize is the Large dust 514 poster signed by loads of CCP devs that i won during the fanfest tourney! (photos up soon)
Last time we managed to raise just over $350 for charity. Lets see if we can beat this record! |

can we get a all star battle? you and some other CPM member can pick whichever players they want on their team and you can have one battle during your live stream. i would love to watch that |

Id be happy to pledge money for a IMPS vs Community All stars match.
Heck just a straight fight against Betamax against IMPS.
Maybe then do a CRONOS vs EON
CRONOS vs x y and z alliance.
or other player groups so on and so forth.
Have you talked to other streamers in the community perhaps there is a way to get the ROFL stream involved and get multicamera support to enhance viewership and really make it feel like a spectator event.
Make it like a prize fight and promote it as such and im sure you will see a lot of viewers flock to donate to see these types of fights.
Point is Jenza we'd be happy to support the charity effort and make it a large community driven event. Perhaps ppl will be willing to donate prizes to participants, maybe even get some eve/dust side betting going on it.
I think your stream can generate a lot of revenue if you market/promote it right.
Thoughts?

Problem is there won't be a way to set up corp matches like there is now. Closest thing is FW.

Its rather easy to pull off.
Just create a EVE side chat channel that can be moderated called Child's play charity marathon or the like.
INV directors and squad leaders.
SInce no more UVT. Vox to find a FW battle that is empty or relatively empty on both sides
Have one team que one side and the other on the other.
Stream that ish and make some money for the kiddies.
Rinse and repeat.
Personally i dont know if its posible to set up multiple streams and simulbroadcast them so you can have a view of the match from both sides. Hell get 2-4 streamers 1-2 per side promote each channel and have just one as the donation or maybe even create a separate paypal account for the actual charity funds.
Im sure ppl are willing to give 1-2 spots up of their 16 on a side to let the streamers just come in to be "cameraman" and capture the stuff in 3rd person or it be an actual playing streamer either way.
Now you have a broadcast that can be multiscreened giving a true spectator feel. Just saying if you wanna to do it go big and be ambitious. It maybe more complicated but it can make for an extremely memorable community event, that really showcases Dust and the community |

There are 6 members of the CPM, and squad size will be increased to 6, on May 6. A CPM squad stream pretty much has to happen that day at some point in the Charity Marathon, it just feels like destiny.  |
