Why would the shift gears from a perfectly working console that more players have and will have for longer.
If they said day 1 they will only support PS4 (aside from the detraction that would take from content) I'm sorry but not everyone can afford or WANTS TO BUY new first gen consoles as soon as they come out.

HERP DERP its been said several times that CCP is going to have dust on the PS4 along side the PS3, However they don't plan on ending support for the PS3 until about four years after the PS4 comes out (or when they see most of their players switch over). In addition to this the PS4 would be considered a Fourth generation Console, not a first, AND you should probably learn how to convey your opinions in a less hostile way. Now granted, will dust be on the PS4 day 1? im not sure, but I do know the two games will be working together on the same network eventually.
They also said it wouldn't be ready for PS4 immediately and with good reason so I'm not sure why this question keeps coming up.
Of course they're going to have some window of concurrent support. That had been stated years ago. They'll run it on both systems for a while, when the PS3 dies out or they feel too limited by it they will move fully to PS4. When Dust will be ready for PS4? I'm not sure but I can tell you I'd rather have Dust ready in any state for any console first. And I can also tell you PS4 will be ready for dust before dust could be ready for it.
Look at even new games under dev. Dark Souls II could 'wait' and go for PS4 but they already have a good playerbase. They know the system. They can crank out an awesome game on PS3 first and to either wait for PS4 or allocate resources to the new system now would be premature and distracting. |

Quit being ridiculous, grow up, get real. Cuz lots of people will get the PS4 and because it is new console there won't be many games on it to start with. Good place for CCP to pick up new customers...new customers who would otherwise not try Dust 514 which are the best kind of customers.
Riiight there will be so many people who are both buying a new PS4 at release, and who would be interested in trying Dust.
