Cool enough to have already been in MGS4. Hell, they make training knives with an electric shock instead of a blade nowadays. in fact, it really wouldn't be all that hard to make one current day. it wouldn't be flash converting the blade to plasma, but with the right materials, considerable heat could be achieved without compromising the blade's integrity. |

MAn- you could do a super nasty backstab with the gallente knife   I'd like to see the combat rifle :)
I like the huge variation in the heavy suits. Super fuckung cool man. I could see the gallente doing a hulk smash for a melee. |

As I understand it you'll have a structure like this. Small suits (Scout, ECM), Medium suits (Assault, Logi) Large Suits (Commando, Sentinel).
So you'll have the base suits which are the small medium and large and then advanced variants which have different roles. For instance you'll spec into heavy. Get a standard heavy suit. Then further up that SP tree you can then spec into Commando suits or Sentinel suits depending on what role you want to fulfill.
Alot like Eve ships were you have the general ships types then advanced types for fulfilling specific roles (HAC's/Interdictors etc) |

the caldari rifle looks cool but not that great, the gallente,well,same assault so no questions there.Mimmitar look like a sub gun meh. and amarr rifle,well, it looks like the assault rifle in the uprising vid and I can't wait to shoot with it. |

Im going Gallente Suit. Scrambler Rifle, and oh geezus. The Flaylock. Watched some footage of it in action.... people will shed tears over it, they wont be happy ones either.
And the PLASMA CANNON. Is alot more versatile than the SWARM. You can actually defend yourself if need be. |

The pic is an example of one of each sized frame from each race. There could be pilot suits and crusaders hidden there. The Large Minmatar could be a crusader or a heavy for instance. It could just be a stylistic thing; but the Minmatar and Gallente large frames both look bulkier and hunched forward, while the Caldari looks less armoured and more upright like the Ammar Heavy.

Choice of race and mostly sticking to one race's equipment is about as far as I take role play so I'll use Minmatar gear almost exclusively. However, I don't anticipate racial bonuses to knives and can see some RP to using the knife of your sworn enemy.
I think every suit should get a knife slot in addition to regular weapons. |
