I like the minmatar heavy, it looks like it has a flak suit on over the armor. and the minmatar scout has a friggin boot knife/ some crazy thing attached to the side of his legs. though, I prefer the design of the gallente knife, dat perfect reverse grip hilt. |

The logi has a bootknife too. I agree on the knives, the minmatar one does look brutal, but the gallente knife looks more like a knife and less like a shiv (not that that is entirely a bad thing).
yeah, the minmatar dagger just looks like its meant to cause massive trauma with a stab(those ridges along the blade will catch on things on the pull out) jam in, rip out, laugh.
the gallente looks like a re-purposed hunting/skinning knife(note the gutting hook on the end) skinning knives are ridiculously sharp, so it makes sense with the current animations(double slash)
the caldari looks like a pretty standard, no frills military knife, made for both slashing and stabbing
the amarr looks like some kind of ritual dagger, and is the only one without a visible button, so it may simply function like the scrambler weapons they use(basically, the scrambler weapons use a MASSIVE jolt of electricity) with the added benefit of stabbing some poor bastard.

Cool enough to have already been in MGS4. Hell, they make training knives with an electric shock instead of a blade nowadays. in fact, it really wouldn't be all that hard to make one current day. it wouldn't be flash converting the blade to plasma, but with the right materials, considerable heat could be achieved without compromising the blade's integrity. |
