ive been in the beta for quite awhile (pushing a year w00t) and have dipped my toes into everything and do my best to stay knowledgeable about things. i have and am using this experience to help members in my corporation and am now turning to you, the future dust bunny vets to give aid where and when i can. the only thing i haven't tried is being ceo of a corporation but i have been director.
so if you have any questions then post them here or message me in game and i will answer it as best as i can.
note: with the end of uvt's in uprising i can do talks i can do them now but you will need one too. |

quick answer: voice chat is off by default by going under the options menu in your neocom (press L1) you can turn it on again you should then see either a word bubble center left of your screen or a green light appear on the squad tab next time you join one.
you can also talk to me in game under the chat name HELP ME! |

Scheneighnay McBob wrote:What are the stats of standard REs and proxy mines? At least in relation to eachother: IE, one has the bigger radius but deals less damage.
the difference between the two is from what i understand that proxy mines are anti-vehicle mines, proxies do more damage to tanks because they attack the more vulnerable under armor of vehicles. REs are primarily counter measures used in the remote (duh) defence of objectives allowing the manpower to be used elsewhere. they are also excellent as suprise attacks in confined spaces or choke-points as like grenades you cannot be revived from an RE death. |

GEK's cheaper, it is only about 17k isk while the Duvolle cost 50k isk. and some people havent skilled all the way up to proto ar's |

That doesn't help- I'm asking for stats of the explosions, or at least a difference between the two. You would think REs do more damage, since they need to be manually detonated. However, I've heard that proxy mines have a larger blast radius. Not sure though.
you asked for the difference and i told you, think of proxy's as anti-vehicle claymore's, or you know land-mines and re's are similar to C4 without the sticking to things. |

Mithridates VI wrote:Why do you believe yourself qualified to answer questions?
Why are you inviting questions, which seems rather egoistic, rather than finding questions on the forums and answering them like most others do?
i didn't realise that there was a committee to gain a licence to help people.
i see an ability to give aid to the newer players by virtue of experience with the game, if you find that egotistical then that is your opinion.
and i do find and answer questions through these forums but i find it easier and less time intensive to be able to access questions and answer them through one medium. and all i care about is that the help is given. others are welcomed to answer as well.
now I have a question
why did you take the time to question my method of assistance when you could've been helping yourself? |

ladwar wrote:why is uprising so broken for tanks and shield vehicles. i am asking how did CCP and fanfeast players not see the broken mechanics and thought it was ok.
i stopped being a tank driver for that reason. though vehicle controls were supposed to be tweaked with uprising there has definitely been a distinct reduction in the amount of tanks i've seen.
the only advice i can give if your going to drive tanks is dont try to fit mlt ones. it's not worth calling in until you get atleast to a gunnloggi with adv mods and turrets. and don't forget the resistance amplifiers |

what would you label as 'needs improvement' in Uprising?
what would you label as very bad changes in Uprising?
improvements? graphics, skill system, wallet, star map, squad mechanics.
i think that some guns need re-looking at, like the hmg and the md/lr. the hmg didn't need a range and damage nerf. the md sights are apparently really bad, and personally since the lr has no kick it should be a low damage high range weapon.
tanks in general need looking at. and lavs neeto be heavier, i like the rolling but its too easy to do.
i also feel like theres something wrong with orbitals, frequently with them i've called it in on an objective to only kill like 20% of the guys there. the only time they feel truly working is when they drop on an open area.
there are no very bad changes in uprising imo the game has taken a solid step forward.
though the hit detect is still spotty at times. |

ambush more or less is designed to be quicker paced matches with fewer wp obtaining things (objectives and other hackables) ambush is great for those who need isk but for people searching for more sp then your better suited in a skirmish match |

NahroGamer wrote:I have a question (lol)
I am an enforcer/assault guy with assault skills. I am using assault dropsuits because I thought it would be normal/logical (sorry for bad english). But now I see people use logic dropsuits for assault (and sniping instead of scout dropsuits)
So my question is: What is the best dropsuit for a assault guy like me
and the best dropsuit for a sniper guy ( in case I become a sniper)
imo you're in the perfect position for a meta-game assault player, CCP is probably going to do something to help solidly define the roles between assault and logi and its probably going to be within a couple months. the players who specced logi at that point will either be stuck as one or have to spend more sp to become assault again.
as for being a sniper i'd say you'd want to spec into a basic logi so you can carry hives and an uplink on you're first life. and whatever suit you wish afterwards. |

Sana Rayya wrote:1) Please explain how flux grenade splash radius works. If I drop one at the feet of three enemies standing within the radius, does each of them receive 1200HP shield damage? Or is the total damage spread out among all the people in the radius, like 400HP damage to each instead?
2) This might be psychological but it seems that increasing stamina also increases throw distance - both for equipment droppables and grenades. Can you confirm or refute this?
3) Sniper rifles - do advanced types have larger hitboxes than militia variants? Some kind of AOE sniper rifle? Or you always need a body hit to do damage?
4) Is there any way to increase your standard movement speed if you are loaded up with heavy plating? It seems that Cardiac Regulators and Kinetic Catalyzers only affect sprint, not standard movement.
Thanks in advance for your answers. Sorry I don't have any nonsensical questions to offer.
1200 each psychological no only sprint speed
