I don't like it when I have two or more fittings that all use one AND ONLY ONE of the same item meaning that if I run out and need to restock one fitting but decide I want to use one of the other fittings but its out of that ONE ITEM and i need restock it giving me a surplus of all of the other items and a lack of the other items from the empty fitting.
Heres another way of putting it:
I have three seperate items (X, Y, Z) across two different fittings.
Fitting one has 20X and 20Y
Fitting two has 20Y and 20Z
I use up 12 of Fitting one, now I have 8X, 8Y, and 20Z.
Now I start running Fitting two, I die 8 times so now I'm out of Y but have 12 of Z. Since I'm running with fitting two right now thats the one I restock back to 20.
Now at the end of all this I have 8X, 20Y, and 32Z.
See why this is a problem? Thats why I think we should be able to give a certain allotment of assets to specific fittings. (okay, I'll buy 20X, 40Y, and 20Z. Now give Fitting one all of X and 20Y and give Fitting two 20Y and all of Z.) It makes restocking so much simpler, right now i'm limiting what weapons and other gear I have on my fittings so that only one fitting has any peice of gear. THIS IS A PROBLEM |

Thought of another way to deal with multiple fittings having overlap items.
Be allowed to set a threshold on fittings, once you reach the amount of fittings that you set the threshold as, it will automatically restock to another set number unless you run out of ISK or reach a set amount of ISK that you told it "Don't go lower than this number when auto-restocking." |

Just go to edit instead of restock. From there you can restock as many of each individual item as you want. |

I'd honestly prefer they just revert to the old method of
Select restock --> Select "20" under quantity --> Everything that has less than 20 quantity is purchased until you have 20 in your assets, anything with more than 20 is not purchased.
It's easier, saves ISK as a whole, and is a much cleaner process than trying to create a new system to separate things. |

It's easier, saves ISK as a whole, and is a much cleaner process than trying to create a new system to separate things. Well they can do that plus make it so when you put an asset into a fitting it removes it from the available assets pool. Think sort of like allocating items.
So imagine you have 20 X, 20 Y, and 20 Z like the OP says. Make one fit that uses say 2 X, 1 Y, and 3 Zs. Then you go to make a new fit, when looking at X's it will say you only have 18 since 2 are already allocated to a fitting (currently it would say you still have 20). Similarly, you'd have 19 Y and 17 Zs to choose from. And then when a do make a fitting that also uses these and die, it won't take away from how many of my first fittings I have since I wasn't pulling from that pool of assets. It's not really that big of a change, but it keeps things a lot cleaner. |

I'd prefer a combination of both the old and the proposed methods. That way restocking is simpler (thanks to the old), and you wont need to restock something unnecesarily because you used another fitting with the same item (thanks to the new). |
