Lol. The main problem is once it does get on it's side (however, could be RDV tard or landing, rolling, getting stuck) Then there is nothing you can do to move.
So all that those thruster and reverse thrusters won't even move you along the ground when you're on the side. You just sit there despite 100% of control input. That's fail |

That's fail it gets put 45 degrees to it's side, so you can thrust it along the ground until it collides with w/e.. even on level ground it still has a tendiecy to roll to the left. it sickening that the myron lands so solid but stands ZERO chance vs Forge gun, the grimness at least stands a %5 chance vs forge gun, that is if it doesnt roll over before take off.
No what I'm saying is if it gets stuck Totally on one side. Then there is literally zero things you can do, it like refuses to move under any controls.

Actually just had this happen yesterday. After the third RDV disaster calling in from typically safe spots, this was the first ship that 'lived'.
Except it was upside down. Managed to get in a LAV, and turn it over, except as gently as I was doing this the moment before it rolled on it's little egg belly to an upright position it spontaneously took 95% damage. Then one guy across the map with a laser rifle finished it off. Lol. I was already inside turning on reppers :( |

I was already inside turning on reppers :( Yeah, when it happened to me I got stuck on a edge of a roof, so I said to my squadmate "if you get an LAV and nudge me I can roll off" he obliged but he hit me too hard, end result was BOOM!!!!! :(
From experience I knew not to try that, so I maintained contact and slowly pushed the ship down a slight hill to roll it.
I guess there was too much friction at some point and sparked the explosive paint though. |
