Seems presumptuous to say Uprising is not ready for release unless you've actually played it. It would be a good idea though to make sure the tutorial and new player experience is as good as it can be before releasing it though, Uprising may have improved tutorials (maybe, maybe not), at the very least it is more user friendly, and has pretty graphics. |

Judging from the gameplay, its not ready. And considering the BASIC things that are listed on the "near future" list, yeah.... Can you be a bit more specific about gameplay elements and features needed for the game to have a successful launch in the eyes of reviewers? |

SPECIFICS Do you just mean you want Dust to launch with more content? like the full set of racial dropsuits, vehicles, and rifles? Or is it some other near future thing? |

Given more time the game will be polished more and more, I doubt in 3 months they managed to make Dust feel a lot better. The shooting isn't working well, and this is a First Person Shooter... They need to work on it to make it feel like an AAA shooter. Right now it feels like an indie project that they adopted and didn't improve much besides adding super servers behind it. Dust has enough content for a decent launch with the new items Uprising brings, I don't see how reviewers could find the amount of guns, suits, and vehicles lacking; it is a solid start. As for the shooter mechanics (which is still vague and nonspecific), like I said before, it is too early to make the judgement since we haven't actually played Uprising yet. |

I'm talking about feeling. Go to another shooter and go back to Dust. Dust feels clunky and bad in general, just bleh. You can't be specific when it comes to overall feeling, because its overall. And I talked with ReGnUM on IRC, he said the game feels the same in that regard.
Maybe its the lack of sensitivity acceleration with the controls for smooth aiming. I made a thread about that before, CCP was paying attention, but I don't know if they're planning on doing anything about it. Perhaps not enough people shared my views on the issue. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=59526&find=unread Here is the thread in case you're intrested, tell me if its the issue with the feeling of the game. |

Regnum confirmed these are still issues in Uprising? |
