This past week, more than ever, I have seen a LOT of people rolling with officer gear (the good ****, balac's and stuff)
I'm assuming people think they're going to lose these weapons when assets get liquidated? I was under the impression items with no market value would not be removed, like officer gear and some merc pack items. Has there been confirmation otherwise, or is there just an influx of people trying REALLY HARD to win ambush games with 70 clones left on their side?
and you're certainly entitled to using officer gear in a pub, just don't get mad when you get a one-kill OB dropped on your head, or get run over by an LAV. |

I assume its because people want to see what the high end gear of their role is like before the sixth. Maybe some of them already know they are switching roles, so they are using the gear while they can. |

didn't think about that angle, however i feel like proto assaults with officer ARs don't plan on switching roles |

I guess, but if the officer gear isn't removed, they're gonna feel really stupid losing rare gear in a meaningless pub match. |

Yeah. Don't think they are going to remove it. If they do, they will give some sort of compensation I'm sure. |
