Realize that in the videos and game play of Uprising, the weapons and suits that the player is using is almost always Prototype. This means, that while a weapon may look OP, it is the prototype version, which should be semi-OP anyways. |

Ye like the core flaylock I like and it looks OP, Nah kidding it is a proto weapon... Like for example they were using the Amarr rifle- The VIZIAM scrambler rifle, Viziam is the proto variant of lazer rifles and pistols in the current build |

I saw it one shot a heavy with full armor just by the splash damage alone....... In my opinion your "proto" argument is invalid because not only was most of the weapons Proto.... but the suits too, so things should have balanced out in that regard. I could understand if it was a direct hit, but the fact that splash damage is doing the same as what appeared to be the core locus grenade..... I mean come on now! whats to stop people from getting on top of buildings and just launching them down all day?? (reminds me of OP dropship missiles back in the day tbh). Maybe your right and they'll be nowhere near as good on May 6th but I swear if this ends up being as silly as the militia shotguns are.......
(I mean come on now.... I don't say im the best player but when I have a proto assault suit that has about 700 EHP its a little ridiculous when a militia shotgun one shots you in a 1 v 1 scenario)..... |
