I use LR and burst geks so I don't know but I do use a breech MD for a AV weapon and it works fairly well with 2 complex mods. |

Eh.... for those that need maximum efficiency, DPS, whatever.... sure, they aren't the best.
In my view they are more of a challenge and have their uses. There is a scrambler pistol breach version that packs a very hard hit; I like using that. I go for the AR or SMG breach when I want to mix it up or challenge myself and my gameplay. But hey, we all have different ideas of fun. Someone's garbage weapon is someone else's challenge. |

Breach SR = Charge Sniper.
Still garbage, can get much more damage output with a tactical sniper rifle as the damage difference is tiny. |

Breach AR = What CoDers should be using to run and gun at close range.
Breach SG = Powerful but bugged.
Breach MD = Depends on how accurate you are.
Breach FG = Wrecking ball and n00b tanker tear extractor.
Breach SMG = Assault SMG is better than all SMG
Breach Pistol = meh...

The shotgun is amazing if you can hit people consistently. And we all know how easy that is on this game 
The breach FG was my dropship killer of choice back when I was a fatty.
The smg is fun, I guess, but nobody needs to take it seriously.
AR pointless

Very astute observation
However, the proto breach SMG actually puts out quite a bit of damage per mag. It actually out classes both the proto assault SMG and proto standard AR as far as damage per mag goes - so, while you are reloading, I am still shooting you in the face. Of corse you have to be able to survive the onslaught though. I've had a lot of good times with the proto breach SMG. I wouldn't go for it over the proto assault SMG, but then the proto ASMG takes quite a bit more CPU to use. I've had some good successes with is running it on a "logi scout" fit. It's a decent weapon. |

i ran numbers and breach does half dps of SMGs and ARs, should be a great close quarters weapon but just ends up broke and a waste of money |

Breach Shotgun is borderline exploit when hit detection is cooperating with you, and garbage when hit detection goes downhill.
Breach Forge Gun is amazing.
ARs are getting a major rework and multiple people at Fanfest have commented that Breach ARs are awesome again.
That last line pretty solidly rules out any validity of complaints about the current build, because everything is rebalanced, so we don't know what's going to happen from here. |

I run with breach SG a lot with garbage hit detection and slow refire rate I am very much disenchanged by it. |

Was not there one? Or is it called burst? It's been a while - I've not run with HMG current build but I assumed it's still garbage because the only HMG I see used is the regular version. |

Breach SMG... Maybe. If it really has weaker DPS then yeah, crap too.
Breach forge - that's situational.
Back in the days of Dropship/Missile superiority it had a use to hide, charge, wait for DS to fly above you and shoot it once - because one was the number of shots you were likely to get before nuked... |

Breach weapons are like stealth weapins. You use it when suprising an attack. I use it with a profile dampner suit aka scout. The name says it all. |

This, pretty much. My scout suit with a breach shotgun isn't going to be taking down a horde, but if I can get the drop on anything short of the most expensive heavies, they're going down reaallll quick. |
