Don't see many dedicated foot soliders with that high of a KDR. Your toy (skilled as you are) allows you to leverage over 25 clones to your one on average. Cry me a river. If you are able to replicate that success with any other weapon, then I will admit my mistake and bow before your awesome skill. |

Why start a forum thread if you didn't want a little conversation? What you pointed out was that tanks were little more than toys, implying them to be items of amusement or offering few advantages that couldn't be met with dropsuits alone. This is demonstrably false as the combat statistics of skilled tankers are on average higher than those who rely on dropsuits alone. I made no comments regarding stale gameplay or static mechanics, in this regard I actually agree with you. |

Ok, how about this. In the hopes of trying to salvage something useful from this thread. Explain to me why tanks are ineffective, or at least not as effective as they should be. I fully acknowledge that Zitro's skill is largely the reason for his impressive stats, but I don't understand how his weapon of choice could be considered underpowered - while you are pretty much living proof that in the right hands it is very effective. Educate me. |
